Minor de-rail - can anyone link me to a site/s regarding the evils of surrogacy? I'm giving a short talk in January, and had an excellent resource - very detailed, with first-hand stories from a lot of US (in particular) surrogates, accounts of some of the horrors perpetrated on children etc, but I had a big computer problem and lost the lot!

Any reference sites will be much appreciated. Thank you. I'm going to post this on the "Injustices against women"thread, too.

There may be some resources on this website, they have an event in London in November which will include a discussion on surrogacy.
And because it will be a space for women they can't give out the location until nearer the time.

Southern Vectis Buses on the Isle of Wight advertised a " Women, like us -Only Recruitment Day " a few days, ago.
Here's their painted bus ( not my pics) .
No rainbows, no trans flags. , just Women ( complete with the Women's Sex symbol incorporated into the letter O of the word Women) & a pink coloured double-decker......
good to see! 😃😎

I honestly don't see the point in things like an LGBTQWTF buses, police cars (our local force has one - it's rather garish to my sensitive eyes) and people in public facing roles wearing badges and lanyards to show that "you're safe with me" etc. Bus companies, the police and council services have to be accessible to all, it's kind of the law and they'd be in deep tit if they discriminated on the basis of sexuality or gender reassignment so why do we need it? <<wanders off muttering>>

I don’t either. It also only seems to happen with all things LGBT+. Why is this one group prioritised and pushed above everything else? Do gay/les and bi people want and appreciate special buses, police cars etc? Frankly, I’d find it bloody patronising, but it’s really all about gender ideology again isn’t it? The constant brainwashing, the pushing to make us believe that some men can be women. I hate it, it’s trying to push and normalise a hateful ideology. Can you imagine the outrage of public services had symbols and flags promoting particular religious beliefs?

I LOVE the Baroness!

Years ago, when all around here was green fields and I hadn't yet been banned from Twitter for my outrageous comments (eg "Nobody changes sex") I got a personal reply to a tweet from her when I made a comment about the delightful Jeffrey* Marsh. I felt world famous by association.

*That reptile Marsh has ruined that name for me. A friend had a lovely spaniel called Jeffrey, spelled with a J (though he usually got Jeff - Jeffrey was for when he was naughty), and until Marsh entered my orbit, I really liked it

Out on the motorway and a lorry ahead of me had "STOP TRANS" on the back. I was very impressed with this show of solidarity with us TERFS and was sorry I couldn't get a pic as I was the only one in the car.

Have just googled it, and yes it's a real company (although, sadly, not really TERFY).

Made me smile anyway.

Thank you. I'll add this to my watch list. I've got loads of resources now, but anything particularly interesting, like this, is still welcome.

I often see those lorries too. Makes me happy to think of all of the TRAs driving past it and getting really upset with the hurty words.

I saw a few of those lorries recently and tbh, I thought at first I had misread the name on them. I thought all this trans tit is frying my brain. 🤣
