I'm pretty sure it's legal for M&S to have a unisex changing area for customers. I can't find information about the legality of the design though...surely they would have to have floor to ceiling walls like unisex loos?What a little mit!

So they do have to provide a single sex space for women, or make the Men's also unisex.

Someone has mentioned on Xitter that Primark do the opposite - single-sex for Women, and unisex for Men. If true, that is just as unlawful and both retailers could be facing court action if anyone was to decide to challenge it legally.
Xitter also claims to have found the Store Manager online. Quelle surprise! (scroll down to see the post).

I never use their changing rooms but will be in one of the Dublin stores this week, and will make it my business to see what changing facilities they offer.
They weren't the last time I was there either - but it's been about a decade since I tried on something in a shop.
You're correct. At the stores I know (5 miles & 8 miles away) the female changing cubicles have lockable doors but large gaps above and below. I've never used the changing rooms in the lingerie department, an area which (bizarrely) is always next to the menswear section. Why is that M&S?

When I accidentally posted about TIM being sex offenders on the “Injustices To Women” thread, I got a finger wagged at me by a certain member ( who I‘ve now blocked) but it does seem a lot of them are dangerous deviants.
I actually don’t care if some people think I’m a hateful bigot, TIM set off alarm bells in some deep, primitive part of my brain, something that tells me somethings not right.
It's actually not at our local M&S. Menswear is on the floor above.
I must be really old or just foreign because I remember how useful those gaps at the top of the cubicle are. You could holler for the attendant to ask for another size and she'd happily yeet one over the door for you. And it really isn't that complicated, just provide separate dressing rooms. You'd think that retailers in this economy would want to do everything possible to get people to shop comfortably.

And I would guarantee that the majority of M&S shoppers are WOMEN. Actual women. The real deal. Not creepy men in dresses or whatever else they apparently believe makes them into women.
I used to believe that trans people just wanted to live their lives as their “authentic self” years ago. Long before they started all this aggressive push to be in women’s spaces, sports and taking our jobs. When they were quietly going about their day and trying to fit in.
Then I got a job at a college and came across so many trans teens I wondered what the hell was happening. I didn’t even live in a big city, I lived in Weston super mare! I remember asking my boss about them and they said to me that it seemed like hysteria or a contagion where one person would come out, leading to two more. And they were right!
You couldn’t report them to safeguarding, even though people being pushed to do something they wasn’t sure about was coercion. I mentioned something to the safeguarding officer and they never followed up on it. They knew it wasn’t right (a 6’5” boy being told he’s a girl by one particularly pushy “boy” and their girlfriend now became a boy too!) but said they wouldn’t check on it. They were scared.
And I honestly believe that the LGB NEEDS to kick the T out. They’re not anything to do with who they’re attracted to, they’re about included more perversions. Along with all the other sickos. Some are for sure trying to get pedophilia legalised. There’s a group in Seattle who are trying to push the minor attracted narrative. Absolutely vile
I vaguely feel like the lingerie ones are those hideous floor to ceiling curtains, or at least they were in Cardiff and Bristol. I think. It’s been 3 years since I’ve lived in the UK so it could have changed.
They’re sickos! All hiding in plain sight because pride is now a thing so people are too afraid to say anything.
My gay friends have all said they fear the T part and that they’re making pride a mockery. They don’t go out to celebrate it anymore because it’s been hijacked by them and become a perverted parade of freaks.
