Unfortunately we probably won't need a new thread for a while due to Freya's blandness. But, she gives me vibes of Stepford Wife. Like she's all chirpy wearing her neutral knits but behind those eyes there could be a volcano waiting to explode.
Seems like the type to film a happy video one minute, then leave the room and go be a witch to the builders over the noise.

100%.I have noticed she does get a bit snippy with Tom, she is quite sarcastic.
Overall though, she is just so boring.
Her intros are an exact copy of Gemma Miles intros. The autumn shopping video, I swear, was an exact copy - the camera angles, the relaxing music, the beige filter… I stopped watching Gemma’s videos a while ago because they were boring and bland so I hope Freya doesn’t go the same way!
Also, I could be completely wrong, but does anyone think Freya might be pregnant? I don’t think it would be on her radar with all the house renovations but she said in her decorating for autumn video that she’s limiting her caffeine intake atm and she’s been wearing quite loose fitting tops recently. Could be wrong though…

Hmmm I think she's quite savvy, and the house has come from Tom's family money. I think she'd want to be engaged/married before having a baby.
I think the caffeine reference is just because she thinks the world revolves around her! I have an annoying colleague who tells us each week that she's cutting down on dairy/caffeine/sugar/wheat etc, like we even care!
Long time lurker here. I’ve been watching Freya for quite a while and the constant hauls and copy-cat videos are starting to drive me mad. I never actually realised how similar she was to Gemma Louise Miles until I spotted their videos together. Same font, same beige theme, same content and not only that but pretty much the exact same title. Freya clearly knows what pulls in views and carbon copies it directly from Gemma. Those videos were posted one day apart with Gemma posting hers first and Freya following suit. Clearly Freya does not have a creative bone in her body! Starting to wonder if she actually does enjoy living her life as beige as possible or if she’s somehow convinced herself she does because that’s what gets her views.

I dont think that its copying as such, Freya would have had that filmed and edited and scheduled. Its just all youtubers and instagram people just do the same content all year and the neutral tones are whats all in the shops and on trend this year its just so happens Freya is obsessed with those tones.

Completely respect your opinion. I’ve watched both for an age and I still see it as copying - not necessarily just between those videos I mentioned but Freya’s theme seems to be a carbon copy of Gemma’s (to clarify, I’m a fan of neither). This beige theme seems to be a trend they have both used for the past few years so I don’t really think they’re following it because it’s the “in” thing. Freya acts like beige is a personality trait at this point. My point is, I feel like Freya clearly has the budget to do something different and it would be refreshing to see her create content that doesn’t feel like she’s just plucking ideas from every other beige themed YouTuber out there.
It's all about the money, though so they are bound to follow what works for other influencers.
I did see a family influencer who is coining it in being called out by a single parent influencer for lifting their content word for word when they had worked hard on it.
It's dog eat dog in the influencer world. A case of watch your back.
Emily Norris was caught out word for word on videos too for so-called hacks I think it was an Australian influencer that called her out.

I quite like the idea that under her real name of Lauren Postlewaite she's a day glow neon loving raver, who would prefer to paint her house in bright orange and get a pink-dyed poodle.
But (for the viewz!) she has to live in beige blandness, under her assumed name of Freya Farrington, with her beige dog and cupboard full of ceramic pumpkins.

I am sure Freya did the beige everything long before Gemma did. I think Gemma copied Freya on this one. Freya has always been beige. Gemma had the grey everything aesthetic before. But I agree, they all love to copy each other. 🥱
