Can confirm it’s bloody awful here in Glasgow. Nothing has gotten in for a few hours, bar a J2 from Prague who managed to get in not too long ago, everything else has diverted elsewhere. Feel sorry for the folk on that Sharm, they’ve been in the air for near 7 hours.

Update, the TUI Sharm has now declared a fuel emergency. What a day

Now 7700 unsurprisingly. Headed to Manchester I think?

I'm close to Edinburgh. It's wild but had a lot worse.

Edinburgh was bad last night, the Fuertaventura was a failed landing then diverted to Manchester.
Tenerife went to land and was last seen Heading to Amsterdam.
The Charles de galle landed along with Malaga.
We can see the planes coming into land so we kept ourselves busy watching for them.

Apparently a Ryanair for Glasgow ended up in Paris.

My boss's son was on a flight to Bristol from Geneva and was diverted to Edinburgh. He was put up in a hotel for the night and flew to Bristol earlier this morning.

The diverts last night were mad. All these people have expecting to come back from th Canaries or Turkey to Glasgow/Gatwick/Luton and ending up in Lyon or Paris. Or the poor buggers who left Dublin for Edinburgh and ended up in Cologne I think!

Edinburgh seemed OK for a while but then I guess the storm moved over to them. It is calming down now but still very windy.

Just popped up on FlightEmergency24. It's heading into Edinburgh now.

Not my screenshot but had the notification come through for this last night the he was sqawking a 7700!
I thought it was just a glitch when the altitude dropped to zero.
Turns out it actually crashed!

I always automatically presume it's some kind of glitch when you see it at 0ft or drop really fast.
Sad when it actually isn't!
Several deaths from what it seems too! So sad!
