Oh that’s a shame. I haven’t found a salty one that is good longevity unfortunately. I like a good powerhouse perfume x
Have you tried Hermes Un Jardin Sur La Lagune?

It is a floral but has a salty marine note. Even though it is an edt it has quite good lasting power, and you can pick up a 50ml bottle for £40 or so.

It’s for sale on the Bobbi brown website, can you check it is the right one before I order please?

If you're after a beast mode salty, while it's heavy with Oud and smoke. I find the saltiness it's strongest note. Tobacco Noir, by Bujairami. It's only $45 for 100ml.

you might like bronze goddess - nuit. This makes me feel like im on holiday in a hot country and having a meal out in the evening. When its still warm but not scorching. I also think the coconut note is strong .

I have just seen an advert for Banana Rush by Juliette has a Gun - the description signs like it would be my kind of perfume and banana notes are very unusual so really curious about it. Anyone tried it? Is there any actual shops that stock JHAG perfumes as £30 for 7.5 mls is a bit steep

you could try small aromas and get a sample first.

It seems to stay on clothes quite well, I’ve gotten several whiffs hours after it’s left my skin!

Wearing Penhaligon’s Savoy Steam. Hate that it’s been discontinued, it’s such a lovely perfume.
Loved this one, as does my husband ( between us, we have several different Penhaligons scents- both love Halfeti , he also like Quercus and my favourite is Luna and Blenheim bouquet for everyday wear....also love Juniper Sling )
He's also got Endymion, Hamman and Sartorial in his collection, all of which I wear from time to time !

...he enquired as to what to buy instead and was recommended to try this one, which he's bought but yet to use!

Just wish they'd stop discontinuing their classics
I've also got a few Miller Harris perfumes which are of a similar genre to Penhaligons if you're looking for something similar ( can recommend L'air de Rien, Tea Tonique and Vetiver Insolent )
