I found a sample of Over the Musk, thought it might do my daughter in place of Glossier, looked up the price and maybe not! Why are these types of perfume so expensive when the ingredients are cheap?! Can anyone suggest a dupe?

Not the one you replied to but Ive tried Kilian Princess and to me it is quite a realistic green tea fragrance with some sweetness from the marshmallow. It doesnt last as long as id like it to but it's nice.
Thanks very much for the reply. It is one to add to a sample trial list in future .

Love this review, I have this one coming in april. I’ve liked all of the Ormond Jayne I’ve tried so far from Scentbird. Champaca is on its way next, hoping it is as good as the others
I also have Sakura in my queue . This month I have By/Rosie Jane - Rosie on the list. I am off to have a look at Champaca now  .How do you find the atomiser? I am not a fan of it and don't like where the spray comes from.

SOTD - Damask. Ormondjayne

can’t stand these stupid Scentbird atomisers. They are faffy and have poor spray power .🤬

Has anyone become nose blind temporarily?
The day before yesterday I set aside time to chose a light citrusy perfume. I must've sniffed at least fifteen and in the end plumped for a DKNY citrus one.
Since then I can smell nothing. I sprayed on a bit of my DKNY and got absolutely nothing so I thought it must be a dud. So I tried one of my really heavy hitters - again nothing.
It's so bloody frustrating 😩 😂

Does anyone know of a dupe of Alexander McQueen MyQueen that was out in the mid 2000s? 🙏

Recent perfume trials for me :-

Juliette Has a Gun - Powder Love . Did not have high hopes for this as thought it might be too sweet for me but proved wrong. It was lovely - there was a little hint of sweetness but was mostly clean ( and i can see why they called it powder love). Think this would be better in warmer weather. Didnt last all that long but could be coz it was cold (although based on previous JHAG experience will probably just be another poor performer).

Christian Louboutin - La Fetishe Rose - I am on my second sample of this (small aromas). It is basically Hibiscus Mahajad but less jammy and sweet. This is much more balanced. Not sure if Quentin Bisch is behind both? I will have to check but given they are one and the same then its a good possibility. I have moved this onto the to buy list. It also has great sillage and lasts a pretty decent amount of time (6 hours ish)..

Narciso Rodreiguez - Pure Musc Blanc . A little meh.. its ok but i don't think its anything special. I would describe as a white florals perfume. It also reminds me of another perfume but not sure what . Fragantica mentions Narciso Rodriguez - Ambree but i own this and it smells nothing like it. It also doesn't smell like Pure Musc either. Its pleasant enough but i don't love it and don't think i'd want a full bottle. Also think this is a another perfume that may do better when its warmer ( coz of the white florals).
I’ve a travel size of powder love but I never reach for it, will definitely try it again in the warmer weather. I love musc invisible and pear inc from JHAG, not keen on the others I’ve tried.
I used to wear hibiscus but have gone off it now, don’t think need to try the louboutin if it’s similar!
I’m a huge fan of the Narciso muscs and have been looking forward to trying this, hope it’s not a let down!!
Out of curiosity what else is on your to buy list?

I have elegantly Tokyo from that range and really love it for day to day wear. Staying power and projection are excellent, a little goes a long way

I bought it from small aromas.

I agree about the 145 euro for 15ml - it is a crazy price but I think Iceland is also an expensive country so maybe it’s inline with costs of products there?
I didn’t take in the price!! I think I read it as 150ml!! Wow. I had no idea it was so expensive.

Has anyone tried glossier you compared with Juliette has a gun Not A Perfume?

Cannot justify the real thing but I just love how clean/skin like it smells!

I did try dossier musky musk and it was awful, sent it back for a refund lol
Not a perfume is really expensive for what it is. They don’t smell the exact same.

Does anyone know if a good website that sells Arabian perfumes? I’ve read that they are longer lasting than others and want to try some. I was looking at emiratesoud.co.uk but on Facebook the reviews were low saying fragrances didn’t turn up after purchase? Are there any better sites?
I don’t know much about Arabian perfume or where the best place to buy would be . I found these websites - not sure if you have seen these already but just in case :-

Another option you could try is to sample a few from small aromas. I think they have a few Arabian perfumes that you could give a try . They do a stock count on Wednesday but worth a look?

I need a bottle for the summer, hoping to find a good priced one on vinted.
I love gfg, baccarat rouge did nothing for me but I have heard the extrait is sweeter so I’m going to get a sample when I next make a scented samples order
Hope you manage to get a good deal on delina la rosee and love it. I've only the little bottle and it cost me 165e but i would definitely repurchase. Yeah I found baccarat rouge very overrated. Isn't cloud by Ariana grande suppose to be a dupe? Nearly always see that in my local chemist. Would love to sample extrait for curiosity
