Very annoyingly, every almond or vanilla, or any gourmand tbh, fragrance I try instantly morphs into dill or salad on my skin. Boooo.

4711 will always have my heart. Plus Glow by JLo, Ghost original and the excellent (but sadly long discontinued and now being sold for absolutely bananas prices on ebay) Queen by Queen Latifah.

4711 for me too. I was on a work trip to Köln this year so had to visit the shop and get some bits and bobs. There is a museum section upstairs which is interesting.

Purchased a bottle of YSL Libre at duty free on my way home from my travels. I smelt all of them intense, original, flowers and flames & Platine and really enjoyed the original on my skin. Would have purchased the Platine as it's so clean and fresh smelling but was over $50 more

Just tried this sample and it smells identical to & other stories perfume called sardonyx fire. So don’t waste your money on a Victoria Beckham perfume!

Landome Idole here today. I had a bottle years ago and lost it in a hotel. My husband hated it so he was thrilled I secretly bought another bottle recently and when he came home yesterday he said the house smelled great, win

When did the formula change I wonder? I bought it for my mum for Christmas and it smells lovely on her.

It really bugs me when brands change their formula.. I bought a bottle of miss dior back in 2020 and i finished the bottle last year. As a present mum bought me a new bottle.. well they have clearly meddled with the formula as is completely different to the version i had in 2020. The recent version is much more sweet/fruity whereas the previous version had a nice balance of fruity/floral. very disappointed

Hi everyone and @HelloStereo my brown thomas order arrived yesterday nothing massively exciting but I thought it would be good to sample brands I've never tried.

The MFK are teeny tiny samples I've loved apom, gentle fluidity gold and bacarat rouge. I thought grand soir was paticularly special. I'd love it on my husband but would definitely wear it myself.

I also wanted to try frederick malle of of course carnal flower which i was certainly impressed with. I'm liked portrait of a lady also but thought it was a bit hyped up online. Really liked musc ravageur also. Definitely reminded of christmas and if you like cinnamon you'll love this.

Next I wanted to try phlur. These were the cutest I think 7ml bottles. Perfect for a little handbag. I liked them all but loved father figure the most and rose whip. Rose whip really reminded me of delina exclusif and I'm sure it is a hell of a lot cheaper to buy!

That's it now til christmas

I got a sample of Diptyque Rose Roche today and oh my goodness it is beautiful . Wish I’d never smelt it because it’s £255!!!!!

I love YSL Libre, and when im short of money I use the dupe Zara-Golden Decade which smells exactly like it. I'll only buy YSL when im in duty free and stick to Zara for daily use.

Charlotte Tilbury scent of a dream was the most horrendous smell imaginable. Like dusty old ladies and mothballs. Thank god I just got a sample and didn't do my usual blind buy

I bought Maison margiela “by the fireplace” and it is GORGEOUS I love a good “warm” fragrance…anyone tried it?

Me.. I love by the fireplace. I love the smokiness which then turns into a smoky marshmallow

Has anyone tried the two new marks and Spencer discovery perfumes. One is called Warm Fig and the other is called Frosted Vanilla.

of the two I like warm fig more but haven’t bought either ( although I have been tempted). They are only £10 each so a bargain.

I bought my daughter Libre (YSL) flowers and flames for her birthday, she was wearing it today and it's absolutely gorgeous. Hasn't got the heavy cloying base note that the original and the intense have. She's really pleased with it, and it's on offer in Boots.

I’ve opened this today. I never really had an opinion about their perfume. I’d occasionally go into the store in a local designer outlet. The moment Lorna luxe started blabbing about it, it put me off. Anyway, this was a gift, so here goes
