Just spotted this thread and yay darts !
Been playing since I was 14, although I no longer play for a team.
Loved to watch the BDO Lakeside with my dad and now watch PDC with hubby.
Although I like the newer players, my favourites will always be John Lowe, Steve Beaton and Terry Jenkins.

Littler seems to have far too many distractions outside of playing at the moment. Also it used to spur him on when the crowd were being a bit antsy against him, but now he openly reacts to it & it doesn't seem to do him any favours as then he usually loses!

price comes across so likeable in his interviews but when he’s screaming on stage i find him unbearable !!!

Random star spotting last night - stuck in a car park (for what seemed like forever ) after a wrestling show in Manchester and Michael Smith walked past with his family. Weird seeing him not wearing his darts shirt

My group have finally decided on costumes for the World Matchplay - I’d been searching for months, randomly one came up so I posted it in the WhatsApp group. It was a hit. I’d not noticed any in the crowds. It was the US masters - there they were

i used to get so irritated by mardle but he has commentated on the most iconic games and has some unreal one liners as some one who has watched darts for years, i remember watching littler the first year of the worlds and i couldn’t believe what i was seeing, i was surprised he lost to be honest. second year i was glad he won, in recent months he’s had some pretty shit interviews in my opinion. he dropped his management and he is constantly on the defence and that’s because he has phil taylor in his ear. gutted van veen didn’t give him
more of a game last night! worst final i’ve seen in a long time. dreading the prem line up if im honest

I think after such a good semi finals night - the final can usually seem a bit of a let down. Most years I usually prefer semi finals night, to final.
I agree he does need some media training as a priority hopefully before the premier league as you have to remember he’s so young but if he keeps being defensive week in, week out I don’t think it bodes well for him in the long run

It's about time the powers that be stopped all the whistling and cat calling. It's getting out of hand now.
Every match I've seen lately has had someone being a dick in the audience.

The Mosconi cup (9 ball pool) has a jolly atmosphere but if you were whistling like here then you get dragged out by the bouncers. I don't understand why they don't have this at the darts? Yes it's a "fun" atmosphere but it's still sports people trying their best and they deserve respect, anyone being an arse should be ejected.

That was an incredible game! Great sportsmanship and I really thought happy feet was going to do a flawless doubles game. So nice to see them both enjoying themselves to. The game of his life!

Such a good game with LL and Gezzy.

Gutted Gezzy didn't do it! Had the chance at the double tops to win and just couldn't get it. He missed way too many doubles in general TBF and you just can't give littler chances like that. Great game to watch

It goes behind the scenes of last years world's at alexanrda palace
It's quite interesting actually and has little interverveiws with some of the players in their own environments worth a watch

Yep, we've watched it - found it really interesting. I did have one question - at least 2 (if not more) of them talked about breaking down in the middle of a match but none of them ever just walk off and they finished the matches - seemed weird as some of their issues were serious (James Wade in tears for example) so why/how carry on?
