Slightly unrelated but I watched some of the 9 ball pool Mosconi cup yesterday and they had Barry Hearn on explaining how he wants to make it like darts and have it explode in popularity. You can see how - the players had walk on entrances with music and after every frame they played music for the crowd. Looked like fancy dress was encouraged and people were chanting in between shots like they do at the darts rather than silence in snooker.
It was at Alexandra palace too

I believe Humphries is changing his walk on song this week - gutted as I love Cake by the Ocean! He better have a good replacement! Am I the only one who knows what their walk on song would be if they were a darts player?

Yep, we've watched it - found it really interesting. I did have one question - at least 2 (if not more) of them talked about breaking down in the middle of a match but none of them ever just walk off and they finished the matches - seemed weird as some of their issues were serious (James Wade in tears for example) so why/how carry on?

No idea how they did tbh, if I'm having a mental wobble, i just need to get away from everything, can't imagine going through that in front of a few thousand ppl! Must be stronger than they thought to have not just walked off, possibly knowing it could end your career? I really don't know For James especially it seems like it's a real love/hate rollercoaster for him.

Did you watch this weekend? Again, wanted Price to win but he crumbled was his best chance so far to win with just MVG there of the big guns.

I suspect if / when Wright is overtaken, Anderson wouldn’t play either. Can’t see him putting up with Menzies as fun to watch he is.
