It was a great weekend of darts some proper thrillers. There’s another one on next weekend too but it’s not on ITV4

Can anyone else who’s going to the world matchplay give me some reassurance? I’ve still not got any tickets and our session is 2 weeks tomorrow. I’ve no experience in this so don’t know if this is ‘normal’ or not

My poor husband couldn't stay awake for the last game and was so annoyed when he saw the score. Although I'm surprised I didn't wake him up with my quiet cheering

I'm knackered today. When van Gerwen shot into the lead I thought it would be a quick match

Oh that would be very helpful. I have to check an old sky app that's not supported anymore for a TV guide. I have sky+ HD and the hard drive has given up so I can watch but that's it. I can't get sky Q or anything in my flat so basically paying for nothing.

The MVG v Smith match was unreal! I was watching through my fingers it was so tense! very good tournament, nice to see some different players reach the finals for a bit of a change. Well done to Gary Anderson - but I did want Smith to win

Totally agree. Ive been saying that for ages. There are some good young Scottish players coming up that maybe in a couple of years they could be the wc team. Like cameron menzies and Willie borland

Even if I wasn’t a darts fan I still think I’d go for the atmosphere!

I love Gezzy but I also quite like Smith so was pleased for him. I’m scared Gezzy will throw his toys out the pram and sack darts off he’s earned a lot in his career if he’s getting annoyed he might not think it’s worth carrying on with it… I’d like to see him live next year in the PL.

I feel for Dimi because he always looks so sad but his little dance at the end of the night was sweet and his speech was nice too.

I can’t wait to find out who you’ll see! So exciting

Tried watching this last year ? OMG had to turn it off. I love watching darts but this was too much

It's different but watching bdo is how I got in to darts so it's nostalgic for me

Amazing. Will definitely do more than one session next year if we can. Friday and Sat is a good shout. How many of you are going? There were loads of touts yesterday im tempted myself
