Slightly unrelated but I watched some of the 9 ball pool Mosconi cup yesterday and they had Barry Hearn on explaining how he wants to make it like darts and have it explode in popularity. You can see how - the players had walk on entrances with music and after every frame they played music for the crowd. Looked like fancy dress was encouraged and people were chanting in between shots like they do at the darts rather than silence in snooker.
It was at Alexandra palace too

The Mosconi cup has been going since 1994, it's always been a bit of a show with walk on music etc, and always been under Matchroom Sport. It is getting more popular as can be seen from the greedflation ticket price rises each year.

I'm currently in Spain on me hols. Got through to pick a date and got a warning message about 'dangerous web traffic' and it kicked me out. WTF. Fuming!

I got that message too right as I “entered” after the queue - thought it was my work playing silly buggers with the WiFi

Seems it basically sold out on the PDCTV members sale yesterday, no way I was paying 50 quid for a code, read some of them didn’t work either, what a shambles.

Is anyone watching the Bharain darts masters?
There's a phillapino player on now called Alexis Toylo and before every throw he does several pretend throws first it's driving me crazy and I'm pretty sure snake bite is ready to throw his darts and the back of his head too

I watched the first leg and had to turn over - I just couldn't watch it as it was irrationally angering me I did feel very sorry for Snakebite!

Glad you had a good time. I wonder if Price will play any of the remaining premier league games? There’s a tournament this weekend, I don’t know who’s in it yet. He didn’t play and of the PCs on Monday or Tuesday.

So Price pulled out of the World Cup. Do we think he’s fallen out of love with darts? Seems to be pulling out of stuff regularly. Says for ‘medical issues’ and I’ve read on some darts related forums that he might have some sort of addiction issues (dunno what) but these people also think he’s a twat so… not sure what to think. I do hope he’s ok though

Just watching the new bullseye with Freddie Flintoff and Luke littler is on again what a difference this time to last year when he was on and look terrified he's confidence on TV has grown so much
