I saw on Twitter that Saturdays match with Littler, was Wrights highest match average (107) since the opening of the premier league season in 2022!! Hopefully he is starting to find his feet a bit again. I watched it on Saturday (plans fell through last minute but it was a god send haha) it was quite good. Buzzing for the WC & Matchplay

Big fan here I go to Blackpool for the Matchplay each year & I am one of the lucky ones to have seen Smiths 9 darter at the world finals last year. Price is my fave though - love him Apart from when he wore those bloody ear defenders! Cullen is rather dishy too mind.

Tip for future major tickets - if you register for PDC TV in January (it's around £40 so not exactly cheap but worth it) it gives you a pre sale link to the TV majors which is why i am always lucky enough to get for the Matchplay. They email a link to Grand Prix / Grand Slam / Dutch Masters etc 3 days before general sale. For Blackpool this year i have the quarters, semi & final. From experience, i find the afternoon sessions in the daytime at the start of the tournament are too long and the beer goggles hit way too early

I know - I do admire his talent and ability to operate in the Premier League considering he is only 17 - just think he is starting to show signs of arrogance aswell which is why I am unsure how I feel.

I have a child who is about 9 months older than him and Littler seems SO much more mature than him (both in looks and attitude) I mean it helps that Littler looks as if he is in his later 20's because I think it would look really odd for your typical 17 year old to be playing darts with the rest of them!

Yeah totally get that, and you're right. I wonder if he's maybe trying to portray the Gerwyn Price bad -booo-boy image

Aww absolutely - the likes of Bradley Brooks....he is 24 but looks 10 years younger than Littler does lol bless em.

I'll be cheering on the Nuke but happy for Humphries or the Asp to win too. In fact, my order is Nuke, Asp, Humphries. Not Gezzy as I love to hate him haha! I have a feeling he might win it though. I like that literally any one of them could win it if they're on their game.

I saw Dimi a few years back he is great fun - that was the night Price got a 9 darter

Also - have you seen Sundays session times have have been amended? They're not hanging about - 12pm & 4:30pm start time. (Doors 11am & 3:30pm for each)

It was a very good night thankfully - glad i took the plunge and went along. My boyfriend sent me the screenshot from twitter of Price pulling out & was like "aww shame" LOL . I missed the first game unfortunately as the queues to the bar were absolutely shocking but i suppose thats my own fault for not being as organized and getting there a bit earlier.

Luke got his 9 darter last night! His reaction was
Standard of play was all over the place, seemed a bit of an odd atmosphere from the crowd, obviously noisy support for Price , but Littler was booed for his walk-on & it all just felt a bit antsy!
brief interview with the crowd in one of the breaks & you could see then that they were nearly all pissed, which was likely to be before play even started!

My son went to the final on Sunday - first live darts for him and he LOVED it! Was a bit worried the match would be rubbish as all the seeds and good players got knocked out over the week and Luke H is not his fave but, as it turned out, it was a fantastic match wasn't it? And De Decker was a worthy winner (and I say that as a Luke H fan )
