Where I live, I was surprised to see a lady in the cinema with clear additional needs shouting at the screen. When the film ended, her carer approached where she'd been sitting on the other side of the room.

I get that some clients may wish for independence etc. but its not the first time I've seen obvious carers just sat on their phone (my gym has the same issue) far enough way that there'd be no way to intervene if the client came to harm, or caused harm to someone else.

At a school I was at, a child opened the door and knocked over a bowl of water, his two assistants were literally like 'Yeah, he goes where he wants, he has autism.' 🙄 Ah, let him in the cleaning cupboard next, or the boiler room or the kitchen? I've done support work, it is hard, but its not so hard that you can just go 'Ah, let them do whatever they want.' You're there to ensure their safety as well as others.
Just as you say that I wonder if it’s a new set of guidance to give these adults independence? There’s a man walks past my house daily with two carers a few metres behind him it never dawned on me until you mentioned that.

My nephew took in an England flag in school today over the victory of England's win last night
The headteacher binned them and called them racist
She won't complain because she's a pussy

This is from another thread. This is what kids are up against. Brainwashed to hate their country. That headteacher would have received a right tongue lashing from me plus I would have reported him/her 😡

Disgusting I’m going to report you for mentioning the R word! You should hang your head in shame!
Can I take a minute to actually apologise for even questioning whether you were 'joking' or not!
I've felt mortified & embarrassed since raising it despite seeing your posts constantly on this forum & I ought to have realised, the joke went totally over my head.

The rape on the 6th? I’ve seen it a lot on twitter appears an arrest has been made, but also reading there was another one by 4-5 illegals on the weekend, can’t see any confirmation.
Yes I saw that on X too but couldn’t find any news reports ?

So ...Great Yarmouth has changed. It is now more diverse, ethnically, and culturally. Migrant communities have opened a range of businesses in the town centre, contributing to the local economy. New businesses, new churches, more HMOs mean the physical space has also changed.

For the town itself, there is considerable divide between the communities. However, there may be some hope that, with the passage of time, the post-2004 migration becomes more accepted, as was the case with earlier migrant groups such as the Cypriot families. It may be then that those with settled status are seen as assets to the town, and not perceived as burdens who are ‘othered’ and marginalised.

So,your usual tripe. Then I saw this

Went into Great Yarmouth today, the amount of Romany Gypsies is beyond,it was bad last year, but so many more now. At least there are women to be seen, most are pregnant or with pushchairs in full gypsy outfits. Please tell me what war they're "fleeing" from ? All buying pillows and duvet sets in poundstretchers, whilst the home-grown addicts homeless are comatose on the floor opposite.
Isn't that Restore's area? Wonder if they're doing anything about them?
