I also love how Kev has a violent menace bubbling under the surface yet Nicola is not scared of him.
Loving her in this mix of Kev, Lewis and Ross.
So glad Kev is back and that the writers are managing to make him scary and funny at the same time.

Kev and Ross have really brought in some much needed humour, long may it continue!

Just been thinking to myself, I can't see Caleb letting Kerry get away with that, he agreed to her to quickly, I think he'll stitch her up!
And if it's true about Jimmy, maybe Nicola and Kev??

She would make a fortune selling his cakes.

Last couple of episodes have been great and especially with Kev back. Emmerdale definitely needed a bit more light hearted content. I was switching off from the Cain/Moira storyline.

I wasn't that keen on Ross first time, probably because of that horror Debbie downer, but am loving him now!
She was poisonous.

I do think the writers have made Ross more like Mike Parr in real life. His own good sense of humour is being used to shape Ross now.
The dancing with Sam was funny. Especially when Robert and Aaron were watching them.

I wish the writers would do that with Aaron. Make him less prickly and bring out more of Danny Miller's dry humour.

Humour has been missing from Emmerdale for so long.
Welcome back humour. It's so good to have you back.

Aaron n Adam were good together, since he left Aaron doesn't have a friend, him and Mac were good together, til Aaron's husband kidnapped Mac.

I’m watching Chris Coghill on This Morning and John Torode is also in the studio cooking

I wonder if that’s awkward because of Lisa Faulkner

I don't think so, Lisa sent messages to Chris about Emmerdale, they seem to be on good terms and they co-parent sucessfully from what I can gather?

Liam is another one who is underused, he has great comic timing and is absolutely wasted on Chas, they have zero chemistry and she's a terrible actress with a weird face and creepy Nosferatu fingernails.
They should pair Liam with a proper glamorous cougar, someone that will liven him up and keep him on his toes. Or anyone who isn't Chas!

I think I am definitely in the minority here (sorry) but I really cannot take to Kev at all. Even the singing last night I know everyone is saying how funny it was but I thought it was totally irrelevant to the scene and I didn't find it funny at all. It was a though the writers just threw that in because the last time he sang everyone was raving about it so they hurriedly decided to do it again. Please don't hate me lol 😂

I do like Lewis though (didn't at first) he has really grown on me. I did read when he was younger he was non-verbal so he had done amazing to act like he does. Great character.

I also thought Mack and Charity were brilliant. I loved how it went from Mack probably hating Charity until she told him about Todd, then you could actually see and feel the change in emotions. Brilliant.

Yes and when Mackenzie couldn't bring himself to tell Sarah, you could almost feel him shift.

Given that they've twice mentioned Kev with women (Lewis mum and cat lady) given it two weeks and he'll be snogging Nicola face off. It's proper partner swap cos Robert has previously been with Nicola too.

He would have been alright with Manpreet maybe.

Here's the clip of Kev and Lewis (that was so interesting finding out about Bradley's autism)

Unpopular opinion, but to me, Kev is yet another example of the production team being swayed by the vocal fans. This seems to happen a LOT with ITV soaps. He was kinda fun to an extent, now they will overplay him and it will be painful to watch. Sorry.

He is already painful to watch IMO. I don't get the hype. It's probably as a result of the rit they're churning out lately.
