This is probably awful but I do wonder if she truly identifies as female or if she is exploiting it to gain sympathy and cash from people. She wouldn’t be nearly as popular without that trait I don’t think.
Also typically those experiencing gender dysphoria make a lot of changes to themselves (appearance, clothing) and drop their dead name. Her dead name features prominently in her “branding” and she makes little to no effort with her appearance. She wears very manly clothes etc. If I didn’t know anything about her I’d genuinely assume she was male when scrolling past.
This is not intended to be a hate speech post, I fully support everyone being who they want to be, I just feel that she is using and abusing a community and is not a great advocate.

Whilst I do understand where you are coming from, in my experience people transition and perform their chosen gender in a multitude of ways. I also don't think anyone who identifies as part of LGBTQIA+ community should have to be an advocate.

This is probably an unpopular opinion but I feel like people have taken the kitten thing and ran with it as an excuse to just abuse elphaba. Kittens die and get rejected all the fucking time, I don’t think I’ve heard of a litter of kittens where 1 hasn’t kicked it within a few hours of life. It’s sort of crazy to automatically blame elphie for that, yeah it’s sad but at the end of the day it’s just a kitten after all and often these things happen without reason and there’s nothing you can do.

Yeah I'm not sure what happened in the events leading up to it but she went to a bridge on live and said she was going to jump, a police woman came and it ended abruptly. She then came on to confirm she was ok and said "her legs were slipping so it's lucky a policewoman was there". As this was all happening a troll account was live with approx 500 viewers so I can only assume this is linked to what happened

Omg I started watching elphaba months ago, I’ve been patiently waiting for her to turn 18 so someone could make a thread. 3/4 times a week she would cry and say she had no money for food so people would PayPal her some money and she would get McDonald’s, or she would sit there saying oh I really fancy a maccies but I’ve got no money so people would give in to her.
