Eczema on eyelid

Hi, I had this issue each spring for 3 years, I think it was connected to my allergies. I had to get a prescription cream every time. It stopped coming back once I found this cream in my home country, I use it daily now. I've had eczema/dermatitis around my eyes too. Mine was allergic dermatitis - to chemical SPFs.

The pharmacy will not be able to give you steriod cream for your face as the skin is too thin and it could damage it. If you can get your doctor to prescribe that should clear it right up.

May I ask, how did you find out it was an allergy? Did your GP do allergy testing?

Whilst not eczema or dermatitis I did get a bad bout of blepheritis a couple years ago. I ended up having to go to minor injuries and get anaesthetic into my eyes due to how swollen and dry they were. I had eye drops prescribed but also recommended by the Doctor to wash my eyelids, lashes and surrounding area gently with Johnson’s baby shampoo and warm water when I feel my eyes starting to get sore/dry/crusty. I thought this was mental but it really did work.

Unsure if that could be or use in conjunction with some other ointment/routine. Good luck, it looks/sounds pretty sore.
