I have been saving my money since the 1st lockdown and have finally got enough to get one but are they worth the money or do I keep saving for a decent break away to Edinburgh

I have one (had wait months for it to arrive in the country) and it's worth every single penny. Even my husband uses it to dry his hair! I recommend getting the one with the longer barrels.
