Dress up or pyjamas?

What will you be wearing on Christmas day? Will you dress up or down?

I'm *probably* wearing this dress. It arrived this morning so I just tried it on briefly. I'm worried it looks too big, but it is supposed to be loose fit (see model)
I ordered the xs and am definitely glad I didn't go for the s.
Wish I had the model's height though!

Lovely dress!

In the past when I had to visit different people I would always pick out my Christmas Day outfit and put on my Sunday best. The past few years though it's no leaving the house so we've done matching PJs and stayed in them all day.

Is that from H&M. I find their sizing, especially for dresses like that, massive!! Love it.

I will be wearing something that has a lot of stretch. Not sure what yet though!

Not sure yet, I need to have a look, hopefully something that will show off my nearly 2 stone baby weight loss 😂

I’ll be changing out of my carer’s uniform , showering and falling into my new festive pyjamas when I get home on Christmas morning. They match my husband’s and the kids. ☺

I'm wearing my pyjamas for the morning. Then for the afternoon I'm wearing this bespoke little number with matching shoes.

Then back into my pyjamas 😂

That's a lovely dress @DCICassieStuart I really like the loose fitted style. I've got kind of a similar one in black and it's very flattering.

I am also going to dress up :) I've been wfh since March and have been in 'loungewear' pretty much everyday. I'm really looking forward to making an effort and doing my hair and makeup. Not sure what I will wear yet... maybe the dress I would have worn to my work xmas party :D

Pyjamas, they are so much more practical! My mum always insisted that we dress up on Christmas Day, proper going out stuff, full make up etc. I remember one year I bought this lovely dress from river island just for Christmas Day, but it was so uncomfortable as I couldn’t relax in it and it got tighter and tighter as the day went on and I consumed more and more food and drink!😂

It’s just me and husband this year so I will be wearing something loose and comfortable! Tbh I never really get that dressed up on Xmas day even if we’ve spent it with the in laws or had friends around, I’m very much comfort over style!

Dressed up!!! I haven't bought anything yet though.

I'd be offended if someone wore pyjamas around the table eating a dinner! 😂 I don't even stay in my pjs all day at the weekend when I'm hungover nevermind popping to my Mam's & Dad's for Christmas dinner.

Anyone know where you can get some nice tea dresses?! 😂

We used to get dressed in our new clothes and go out every Christmas since I was little. I love being able to just chill at home with my own family in our pjs. The kids get to play with their toys all day, we get to relax and enjoy the day we’ve worked hard all year to make special. Boxing Day we usually do visits so get dressed up for that.

I bought that same dress from H&M in a M (Im usually a 10/12) and it was absolutely huge!

I'll probably wear PJs for part of the day (got nice Christmas ones) and then jeans and a christmas jumper when we got out for a walk. If we were going to other peoples houses I'd dress up a little bit.

Totally OT but I bought I am the same size and bought a dress in a small from H&M and that was huge too!!! It fits more like a size 14 . Their sizes are never right there

I always wear a nice dress on Christmas Day even if I’m just sitting in the house stuffing my face with chocolate and alcohol - I bought mine online yesterday, I’m worried it won’t fit though as it’s a size 8 and for some reason this last month I’ve gained quite a lot of weight 😬
