I had a dream last night, I was in London with my boyfriend but he wasn’t my boyfriend if that makes sense, and we were in a high building and got a warning a tsunami was coming, so we all panic and run out the building then they said it’s not coming yet, we went into this cinema complex, building, and then the wave came, so we were all panicking trying to find something to hold on to, then I was looking for my boyfriend frantically and then found him at the end of the dream 🧐 I’ve also had dreams about me and him where we were on the top of elevators next to eachother, but couldn’t reach eachother because we kept going either up or down...these must have meaning right??

You keep getting separated from him in dreams. Its probably an underlying fear of separating in real life which I would say sounds pretty normal, ...not that I'm dream expert. Its just sounds like a rational fear.

As far as I can remember in my life I have never had a nightmare. Sure I have had the odd mad dream and certainly had odd dreams but never a nightmare. I am a huge fan of horror. I watch horror, I write horror and in the past I worked on a show about ghost hunting and spent time in some really spooky places. Nightmares are just things I have never had and you would think I would considering all of that. Even after a street attack a few years ago I never had nightmares after that.

In the last week though and I feel so silly saying this I have to say, I have had proper nightmares, walking up in the night in a cold sweat because I have been having a nightmare about being locked in a freezer. Thank you bloody Coronation Street for that one! Every night since Kevin and Debbie were locked in the freezer I have had these horrible, horrible nightmares about it. I think it must have triggered some underlying fear in me.

When I’m feeling really anxious I always have the same recurring dream - I’m out somewhere and o realise I’ve left my daughter at home (obviously never would!) and I rush back to get her but my legs won’t move and their all like jelly. It’s honestly awful and I think it’s because my biggest fear is not being with her/there to protect her. Deep!!

I have the same recurring dream atleast every 2 weeks and it just confuses me. I dream about a house I used to live in. I moved out there 4 years ago. Normally the same theme every time that I'm in there and all my belongings are there and I'm in a rush to pack them up because the people who live in the house now are coming back any minute. Now I just can't interpret this dream because I happily and willingly moved out of that house and have been much happier where I am now ever since. It has alot of negative emotions and I was having quite a rubbish bad phase in my life while I was there. Now why do I keep dreaming that I'm back there and almost not wanting to leave I don't know. Dreams baffle me

Reading this thread, I don’t think I dream like a normal person.
My dreams tend to be more abstract, and random occurrences, rather than full stories if that makes sense?
I often dream that my teeth are crumbling but no context, just trying to stuff them back in.

I think dream meanings are subjective and vary from person to person based on their personalities, lifestyle, etc. That's why I am not keen on those one fits all dream meaning books. I believe they are insights of a multi verse based on possibilities reflective of the above.

I tend to have a few reoccurring post apocalyptic dreams, they always feature some sort of air craft (which isn't of this planet) bursting into flames from the sky and either me ending up in open water or utter chaos amongst people and me not being separated from my loved ones (when it ends on the latter I believe is a symbolic to my life rather than premonition). They tend to give me dreadful anxiety for the whole of the next day. Very scarily they have always featured my latest home, which I have lived in now for only a couple of years. I can strongly place my kitchen and a particular roundabout very close to my home and have done before I moved in here! Same with many other dreams that have scarily ended up true. Sometimes even featuring people who I have gone on to meet years later or even the children I ended up giving birth too (I certainly dreamt of one of my children during my teenage years). I have moved home alot and can place my homes in them, sometimes years and homes before moving in them.

I also have another reoccurring one about my childhood home and I find these really interesting because I find I am only a child in them and can sense "authority" like we had snuck away from our parents, after logging this particular dream upon waking on them a few times. My sister also appears to be constantly by my side in my dreams (but the childhood version of herself, I can never see the visual representation of her, only feel and hear her beside me), we often dream this dream on the same nights which is also very bizarre, they tend to feature us practically exploring our old estate on what seems like free will. They are very nostalgic to us but also oddly feature the same thing, for instance the fascia from our block of flats we lived in appears to be completely missing in both our dreams and it all seems to be based right outside the door way or on the actual estate but never stepping foot in the actual home, like we had snuck away from our parents almost, they seem to end for either of us if we wander out of the estate or try to get back through our childhood front door. I've often wondered if me and my sister are sometimes often visiting an alternative universe some nights where we are children again together? I've logged this particular dream very well and feel comforted upon waking but also quite confused as it just makes me want to pick my brain. Me and my sister have always been quite in tune with one another in several other spiritual ways, we are very close in age and always have been since small children.

The more mundane but specifically stand out of the dream for me will more likely end up true. Often within the day following if equally combined. For example I had a dream where I couldn't really remember much other than seeing my broken necklace on a floor, next day my necklace broke. I have had simular dreams when I've dropped my phone and smashed the screen. Those types are the most common for me.

I had a dream last night that we had a woodlice infestation in our bedroom and I was waking up pulling big red eggs out my hair like kidney beans. And live woodlice. What on earth 😩

Dream about Paris.

I was in Paris, and I had to climb these steps to reach a pastry café. I remember ordering something but never actually receiving it. I also remember thinking to myself how I got to Paris when I didn't use the Eurostar train. I was also wandering around the street, trying to find my husband to take him to the pastry café. There were no Paris landmarks like the Eiffel Tower within the dream.

Dream about New York.

I had a few dreams over the past few months in New York. The first dream was we somehow got stuck in a car park, and I was crying that I wanted to get to Macy and Bloomingdale. Another dream was me doing an Insta story of me in New York, and this one even had a soundtrack attached to it, Taylor Swift 'Welcome To New York'. I also wanted to visit Macy and Bloomingdale.

( I went to New York a few times when I was a teenager with my mum. The last time I was there was for my 21st birthday, and it wasn't too long after I got engaged. I am desperate to go back there.)

Dream about moving into a haunted house.

I dreamt we moved into a new house, and it had an eerie weird feeling about it. Not long after we moved in, we would learn that we were not allowed in the house's back area as the previous owner still got a hold of it. But of course, you sneak in and find something is odd. Of course, I always wake up at that moment, but I do want to uncover the strange feeling I have in my dream.

General dreams about moving to a new house.

I had for over a year now dreams about moving into a new place. They don't have a similar pattern, except they all about us moving into a new home. I can't go into details as it usually all a blur and doesn't make any sense.

I always dream every night and they're normally very in-depth, very real feeling dreams that seem weird when I think about them but when I say them out loud to my boyfriend lots of it starts to add up regarding my thoughts or events throughout the previous day but... This week I've had THE weirdest dreams I've ever had!! And I can remember all of them now. They are so detailed and soo long and real but obviously completely not realistic. And there's nothing in them that makes sense to why I would dream that... I mean they are strange! I don't even know how to describe them. One of them though had a man in 🤭 and normally when that happens I can't really make out a face or they're someone I know/famous. But this one, he was so real and I can still picture him?? It's messing me up I feel like I'm cheating on my boyfriend, I haven't been able to even hug him today. Yeah that one was last night 😏. The others weren't anything like that and were set in some bizarre realities, really odd animals and just I can't explain. Does anyone else have this? And wtf is going on 😂
