Hawaii , oahu! I really want to go there!

I've been ... my only advice is avoid (or don't spend too long) staying at Waikiki... its disappointingly over built and the beach isn't that great. North shore is better but I'd also consider some of the other islands instead

That’s good advice. Any other tips are welcome I was going to stay in Waikiki as a base and travel all over Oahu? What u think? Waikiki just for a day instead?

Vietnam - I just really love the look of it, the culture, food

Thailand - been before, love the food and the people, amazing place

Vietnam is amazing and I actually preferred it to Thailand, the French colonial architecture there is gorgeous and I love the organised chaos in Hanoi. Definitely recommend it. Food is gorgeous and their local coffee is also a must try.

Right now a week in the Costa del Sol would be a dream come true!

Can't wait to get back to a bit of travelling. It's amazing how much we've all taken for granted.

Yes that’s the one! I love Caribbean Maldives is beautiful but sounds awful-I did get bored eventually.

I can imagine the Maldives is one of those places that once you've seen how gorgeous it is there isn't much else.

I had a family member go there on honeymoon and they went for 5 days and said that was just the right amount of time. They spent the rest of the time in Sri Lanka.

I also wouldn't mind a trip to Costa Rica to play with some Sloths and as @realhousewivewannabe said, the Giraffe Hotel would be interesting.

Sri Lanka, The Gambia (Banjul), New Zealand and Scandinavia

I've done a week volunteering in Gambia and could never go as a tourist after seeing the poverty there. In fact a couple in our hotel who had gone for an all inclusive beach hol ended up coming with us every day helping out and said it made their holiday a million times better than they'd planned. Their friends wondered what had happened when they messaged saying what they'd been up to

New York is incredible! @Tinkerbell cat I would say the best time to go is the summer time! I had the best time!

I travelled around and stayed in a hotel on Times Square for part of the trip. Went to Broadway for a show. It’s so magical

We were supposed to go last June for my partners birthday but obviously covid happened I really want to visit 9/11 Ground Zero, Empire State Building, Coney Island, Time Square, See Chuck Bass house I can not wait to go.. whenever that may be though is another question.

New York is unbearable for me in summer. Winter magic all day long But whenever you go it will be great. Couldn’t live there though despite a city girl.

I mean it is a decent base and a lot of the main "attractions" are nearby. North shore etc is a good hour drive away (a car is a must). But really it is a beach with a strip of high rise hotels along it (and hard to find restaurants that aren't just hotel ones that are full of other people).

Definitely hike diamond head. Its not too challenging but the views are definitely worth it. Go early to avoid the heat and the worst of the crowds.

The best thing I did was two photography tours with a company. Took me to lots of spots I wouldn't have been to with great tour guides and they help you get great shots (even if its just you with your camera phone).
