Ah come on now, is a mum not entitled to a break?! Self care for new mums is really important
I know very, very, very few first time mums that go to get they eyebrows micro bladed in the first 2 weeks of her baby being born, let alone have the LUXURY of being able to go to the cinema with their partner.
It’s not about what they deserve or what they’re more than entitled to,
It’s about the fact most new mums don’t have that constant support or help, and to be honest, most new mums just chose to spend all that time with their newborn.
so please enough of the women supporting women stuff, I’m allowed an opinion
I wouldn’t have been able to leave my babies in the first few weeks it’s like hormones take over and you need to be near them. It’s not the norm to go on a night out when your baby is a few weeks old
I see it as she is very very lucky to have help but that's good for her. She's hardly going to stay at home 24/7 just cos other Mams don't have help.
Can't say I know any women who had support or not who willingly left their baby in the first few weeks.
I find that really odd.
Either the baby sleeps a lot or she gets plenty of help, none of my friends had time for a full face, nevermind fake eyelashes.

Yeah I'm delighted for her that she has a lot of help and support. I wish every new parent could have the same support. Also different people feel and do things differently. If she feels happy to leave her baby and go watch a movie and if her baby is also fine then what's the issue? If you don't feel happy to do that and want to stay at home then that's your choice.
I find it hilarious her latest video is a screenshot of her holding her gorgeous little baby…but still in that same feckin pink bedroom

Starting to think the baby is an accessory to/for her. Like yes all for mammies getting time away and having fun, however leaving your 2 month old to act like youre in your wild 20s is not cool imo. I do think it's crazy she went to these lengths to trap him. Like he's young enough and she's not old af she could have waited a few years. I gather neither were taking precautions and this is def a oops baby.
I strongly agree with you regarding the weekend away. I think it's mad, even if you took a 2 month old away with u for a weekend is a nightmare. The hassle just isn't worth it, that's my opinion. Neither have their heads screwed on, best of luck to them both! I don't think any one expects you to change your opinion to appear 'pc or woke'? where are u getting that from?! Ah lads, I'm just watching her birth video now and the actual difference between her video and Melanie's. She actually expresses how she loves her son and how much she wanted to meet him and that was the end goal.
Melanie is so grim compared and the way she spoke of the staff and the tears compared to aisling.
I haven't watched aisling in a long time but I actually am delighted for her she defo seems to have such a good mindset towards pregnancy, birth and motherhood.

However I wonder how far she’ll push the anti-Melanie persona. They’re in a very similar situation, living at home with partner and new baby. Will watch with interest
I think her plan to keep up the vlogs is a bad one. The latest was very boring. There’s no point in facing the camera, saying your going to do something, doing that off camera and then repeating. Folding baby clothes is not good content.
