Well if someone you didn’t like posted your full name date of birth and location without your consent it’d be considered doxxing. How so?
No no I agree with not showing babies/children etc for all of the above reasons and more, I don't with my own but what I mean is that it is counterintuitive to publicly share a child's full name, date of birth - both parental names/identity, we all know place of birth and im sure plenty know where she lives. To me that is more of your identity (particularly for social security reasons and going forward as he gets older that information is pertinent for registering everywhere and anywhere - PPS, healthcare, creche, school) than just your physical appearance as a baby if that makes senseI think it's more than identity privacy. As much as Melanie annoys me to the high heavens on so many things, I couldn't fault her for not (fully) sharing her baby online. 1) It's not smart to share baby & child photos with thousands (even hundreds) of complete strangers since it only takes ONE weirdo to use or share the photos for untoward purposes. 2) babies only stay babies for so long, and then they are toddlers and then in school and have friends and it isn't fair to have an online presence you didn't request. 3) Dad's do have a say and 4) not everyone that follows these ladies does it with the purest intentions - "hate followers" are surely a thing. Who wants to hear comments about their child's appearance, etc.? (all for the child to perhaps read at some point.) So, all things considered, I can't fault either of these ladies for keeping their babes faces private. And I accept that as mums they do want/need to include baby/mommy content since that's 90% of their lives at the moment. So, I'll give them all that. There's plenty to snark on the rest of the crazy things they do lol
his mates are getting ready to get their lives back on track, football and nights out, and paddy is playing daddy after missing a year of his 20’s.I notice Paddy hasn’t posted/said anything since the birth?
Question about Paddy's friends because I'm interested in Irish culture (I'm from the US.) He's 27 years old - is that still a normal "party/single" age for men in Ireland? Here if you are a 27-year old man, you probably have more than one friend in your group that is married and has at least one child (if not more.) It's interesting that all his mates are still single. Do men generally get married/settle down later in Ireland? I'm in a relationship, but if I was still single and met a 27 year old guy who was still in the party stage, that would be a huge red flag for me.his mates are getting ready to get their lives back on track, football and nights out, and paddy is playing daddy after missing a year of his 20’s.
hes gonna resent her I bet, its all fun and games now but give it a few months of sleepless nights, living with her family![]()
to be fair he’s only turned 27, so he was only 26 when the pandemic hit, 25 when they started dating isn’t old at all, it wasn’t his first relationship either.Question about Paddy's friends because I'm interested in Irish culture (I'm from the US.) I'm from New Jersey. Here the party guys are 19-23. University/college age plus maybe 2 years. After that, any man you'd seriously consider as a husband is well-trenched in his career and looking/planning towards a future. Not to say all men do that, but any one that will amount to anything in life is starting to grow up by 24+. If Paddy's friends are a bunch of 27 year old 'frat' boys, I certainly feel for Aisling. At this stage of life, she needs an actual man, not a boy.to be fair he’s only turned 27, so he was only 26 when the pandemic hit, 25 when they started dating isn’t old at all, it wasn’t his first relationship either.
I think a “settling down age“ here, marriage and kids etc, would be around 29/30.
not many I know have kids before that age nowadays, most of my friends wou have been around 30/32 starting a family,
maybe 10 years ago to do that all at 27 would be more the norm, but not now, when you’ve spent so much time in uni/building a career.
ah I think frat boys are very different to normal 20 something lads here.I'm from New Jersey. Here the party guys are 19-23. University/college age plus maybe 2 years. Well, tbf, he had complete control over that. His comment on her video that he "didn't know how that happened!" was immature. If he truly was against having a child, he could have taken steps to ensure that didn't happen. I guess it does go to his overall immaturity that he doesn't take accountability. But just because he doesn't, everyone shouldn't let him off the hook and put the entirety of the "blame" on the woman. He's just lucky Aisling didn't freak out. I can't imagine any woman concerned/anxious about her size purposely getting pregnant, in the middle of a pandemic yet!! It didn't appear she was in any danger of losing her relationship before the pregnancy, so I don't see the motive. (If this had happened during the tail end of her relationship with Jimmy, I might see some motivation.) But it's a far stretch for me to see that here.theres a difference between being in a committed relationship to having a 31 year old girlfriend you've dated for less than a year (11 or 12 months dating I think when she got pregnant?) get pregnant.
I think Irish people tend to do a lot of the big life milestones a lot later than in other countries. Most people I know are well into their thirties by the time they have children or get married. There’s a culture of living or working abroad for a year or two in your twenties so people are rarely “settled” at that stage. And it wouldn’t be odd to be going out with someone for 5+ years before there’s talk of getting married.I'm from New Jersey. Here the party guys are 19-23. University/college age plus maybe 2 years. That really is so interesting! I'm from the NJ/NY/CT Tri-State area, which contains large cities and urban areas. In the more rural parts of the US Mid-West & South, the age to be married/have kids is even younger - 21 & up!I think Irish people tend to do a lot of the big life milestones a lot later than in other countries. I definitely agree it was accidental! She is clearly just not wanting to admit they were careless. Although my perspective is that pregnant women are beautiful, any woman practically starving herself to have a flat tummy is definitely not looking to add a basketball to their profile.she’s made out it was accidental, got annoyed when people asked was it accidental, admitted she wanted to get pregnant soon
this is so insulting to anyone with an eating disorder. That really is so interesting! I'm from the NJ/NY/CT Tri-State area, which contains large cities and urban areas. In the more rural parts of the US Mid-West & South, the age to be married/have kids is even younger - 21 & up!

Not sure where I said that, but not about to argue the point.Just because you have an eating disorder doesn’t mean you never want to have children

just so we can end things with a clarification. Not sure where I said that, but not about to argue the point.
Honestly I think you need to understand cultural differences. Just because Americans settle down at 21 doesn't mean the rest of the world does too?I'm from New Jersey. Here the party guys are 19-23.
