Don’t think she’s really thought about how her life is going to change...I mean in a recent vlog can’t remember which she says she is dying to go on holidays in Ireland, she has a list of places she wants to go and she doesn’t care who is going with her she’s going and taking the baby...quite an
Immature idea to have
Like the baby comes first love not you so saying you’ve holidays you want and the baby is going to tag along like an accessory if very naive
Kind of reminds me of the girls on 16 and pregnant that were planning to have the same life they had before baby and then got a proper slap in the face when baby came along
yeah I don't think she has either. that comment about hols and heading off with the baby was a bit silly. the baby wont fit around her plans, she will have to make her plans to accomodate her baby. not to mention the amount of stuff you have to bring with you when travelling. and would you really enjoy a break with a newborn when you are sleep deprived? I know for me I'd prefer to be at home and go away when the baby is a bit older and sleeps a bit longer than newborns do.
I think she mentioned permanent jobs coming up and she said something about being kept on, she might not be permanent it might just be her temporary contract was extended. Civil service jobs are very different to a regular office job in terms of interview process. You're put on a panel in order of merit and get offers based on your ranking. So say she took a temporary job and people ahead of her in the interview process got permanent jobs, they're taken off the panel and she gets bumped up the list for the next permanent jobs that come up. I don't know if I've explained that very well but basically she's in a very good position to be made permanent if she isn't already. She wouldn't have to reinterview. Civil service is very secure compared to working in the private sector. It wouldn't be huge money but it's very secure with paid maternity leave and a pension etc. If you stay in it for years and work your way through the ranks you can end up on very good money. I'd actually well believe she could get emails and stuff done with time to spare for filming, especially if she worked extra hours on days she wasn't filming to make up time. The job is probably like entry level admin and wouldn't be hugely demanding. Maybe I'm being too gullible but it would be such a weird thing to lie about having a job, surely people in her real life would call her out on it if she was lying.
thank you for explaining, that's very helpful. she mentioned having to apply for an interview though which is why i assumed she would need one. if she didnt need one, then why apply for one? unless she was unsure and just assumed that she would. you'd think they would call her out if she was lying, but would she listen? she doesn't strike me as the type who would. and given she lies/lied about where she was living, anything is possible with her really.
I wonder what the job is/was. She once mentioned working on an interesting case.
yeah she mentioned working on a high profile case, after saying she couldn't speak about it. 🤦‍♀️ then it was invoices and databases. perhaps its a case involving tax issues and that could be where the invoices or whatever come into it. then again she could just be blowing hot smoke and none of it is true. you just wouldnt know with her. she has told and continues to tell so many lies that its very hard to know what is and isnt true.

laughable when herself and paddy see themselves as above the rules and always have done. Poor pet can’t get her 12 inch nails done or her hair done, can’t even go for a side salad pizza with her friends 😐

She apparently has a Government role, yet she’s been breaking restrictions from day one.... interesting.
her office is in dublin (i assume going by stuff she said previously) so maybe she has/had a letter from her employer/manager in the past and used that if she was stopped by the guards?

side note, i hope he grandparents are okay and recover enough to come home. i do think she sometimes uses them/their ailments/hospitalisations as a way to gain sympathy from her followers, though i hope im wrong and she doesnt.

I had thought, that she was working with the RCS on something to do with the Obesity in Ireland? 🤔 Ya know cos she is a nutritionist?
Invoices could be for her department ordering paper for the printer, the way she goes on ya know she would spin anything to make it sound good

I think Aisling is really struggling with her body changing with pregnancy, like how did she expect an extra small coat to still zip up in her third trimester? She seemed genuinely shocked and upset about her clothes not fitting. I think she was deluding herself into thinking she would only have a really tiny bump and be back in her extra extra small clothes immediately after the birth. Going on about 5K jogs and how mini weetabix is unhealthy is a bit extreme, it seems like her eating disorder is really bad at the moment. I hope Paddy and her family are supporting her, if it's so obvious to viewers that she's struggling imagine how much worse she must be off camera.

rcs = royal college of surgeons? while she may be a qualified nutritionist she has not (at least to my knowledge) done any nurtirional work in years. at least not since she finished up in whelehans and that was in 2016 i think. she focused solely on youtube since then until going back to work last year.

and honestly without sound horrible, given how she is struggling with her ed at the minute, i dont think it would be at all suitable for her to be working on obesity or giving help to others. i think she would end up projecting her own issues onto others or projects without even realising it. she needs to address her own issues first and foremost before giving advice to others in my opinion.

tbh with her job and what bits she drip feeds, i take it with a pinch of salt. this thread has proven she is lying about all sorts and her job (in my opinion) is no different. you cannot trust anything she says unless there's proof its true. its sad but true unfortunately.

yeah she is and its getting worse and worse. i dread to think how she's going to be after the baby if she has any kind of a bump at all that doesn't go away as quick as she thinks it will or expects it to. i hope she is getting support too, but going by how bad it is on-camera she may well need to see a professional who can help her. frankly i dont know if she has ever had enough or any professional help because the constant pointing out her size, what size she buys, how little she eats and whatnot leads me to think that she has never really fully addressed the issue(s)/root cause and they are starting to spiral downhill now.

i hope im wrong. i hope she is okay. but its very concerning seeing how she is now. clearly her mental health isn't great and i hope she gets the support she needs, both from her family, friends and her doctor.

Jesus it’s hard watching a girl putting her illness before her baby but it’s getting more and more apparent by the upload 😕

Yes, Royal College of Surgeons. Using her sports nutritionist qualification. RCS has been doing some project on Obesity and from what she had mentioned (she said she was working in RCS) I figured that is the department she was in 🤷‍♀️
No it's prob not healthy but neither is having a baby when you're struggling with an ED.

It's definitely hard to watch. Aisling admitted on the trimester 2 update video that she usually skips one meal a day so she only eats 2 meals a day. And of course she had to mention that the Fanta she drinks is sugar free. She's constantly saying how heavy she feels and how she would spiral if she knew her weight now as she's the heaviest she's ever been! She seemed very upset to have gained 10lbs, so much so that she apparently can't cope with knowing if she has gained more since that weigh in. She's massively struggling with the changes in her body. I truly hope she has professional help to deal with it, it's honestly quite worrying seeing how bad her ED is while she's pregnant.

It’s worrying that she’s now offering to give advice about GA and nutrition during pregnancy.
the girl hadn’t a clue what she’s saying when it comes to nutrition or makeup!
it’s really clear she hasn’t studied for years (and google isn’t studying aishling)

I can see this all ending badly 🤦‍♀️ Paddy will be off, aishling will be on a diet/extreme exercise program, her mam will have the baby....

weird someone so into health doesn’t seem phased about breastfeeding at all. (And I’m not a “breast is best” type, I’m just saying she’s already set herself up to bottle feed)

Oh no I meant that she works for a government body but has openly broken lockdown from day one 😂

how was paddy allowed in for her scan!

where did she say she was/is working in the RCS? i missed that.

i agree, having a baby when suffering with an ed isn't a good idea.

i found that very frightening. i hope paddy and her parents encourage her to seek professional help because it is glaringly obvious that she needs it.

it worries me that with her ed as it is (and getting worse), will she (unintentionally) project her issues with food/weight gain/image onto her child as they grow up? it would be very unfair if she did, though i understand it would likely be unintentional, but i do hope it doesnt happen.

It’s worrying that she’s now offering to give advice about GA and nutrition during pregnancy.

it is worrying. considering she hasnt done nutrition work in years i dont know why she would be giving out advice now, unless she has kept herself up to date with everything in the world of nutrition.

yes i can see it ending badly too.

oh right lol sorry, i misunderstood.

there was a time when we (ireland) were out of level five restrictions and partners were allowed in for the 20 week scan, that is the one paddy was at.

I can’t believe she gave up a career (or what could have been a career) in nutrition to sit on YouTube doing these “hey what’s up everybody/it’s the bomb dot com” style reviews on 2 euro makeup by penney’s and essence. 😐

I always believe she “went back to work” to impress Paddy tbh, but I could be wrong on that.

I wouldnt be surprised tbh. i remember another influencer (who was/is a teacher) saying she loved her job but her dream was to be an influencer and send "bloggy emails" (or something to that effect anyway) and she is on a career break down whilst working as an influencer so i mean its not surprising but its sad that even with a good education, job, career, being an influencer seems to be the "it job" nowadays. i think a lot of them see the recognition, 'fame', swipe ups, income that comes with it and want that, but at the sacrifice of their privacy (and their kids privacy in some cases).

no shade on anyone who does, each to their own, it wouldnt be for me personally, but i appreciate there are those who do love it.

yeah i think that too, but then ,she wasnt getting sponsorships (hasnt had any in a few years i think) and her youtube income didnt/doesnt seem to be a whole lot so realistically she needed another source of income and something that was stable and pensionable for when she retires when she's older. i mean, youtube wont give her a pension and doesn't seem to be a staple/reliable income so she had to do something. especially if she wants a mortgage and now having to pay for a baby.

i remember her saying in her announcement video that she left her previous job because she was in a high tax bracket, but then years ago said it was affecting her mental health? which was it? i dont believe it about the tax bracket (she worked part time alongside youtube) so i dont see how she could be in the higher tax bracket.

she said how youtube earned her good money, but then after her and jimmy broke up she said she was finished her elizabeth arden eye cream but couldnt afford €100 (or however much it was) to replace it so got another (more affordable) one instead. now if youtube was earning her such good money (as she said) wouldnt she be able to afford €110 for an eye cream? i mean if i was earning as much as she was making herself out to earn i could, even with a house and all the household expenses, and she had none of those as she was living at home.

i think this new job was to impress paddy but also to have extra money to keep up with and afford a social life, holidays, weekends away etc. what she earns from youtube (without sponsorships) was not going to pay for those.

She was always mad to get a house. I don't blame her for that I was too. I'd say she got this government job to help get a mortgage. You have to be 6 months permanent to make the mortgage application easier. Harder to do when you are self employed. Plus the civil service has a guaranteed payscale. I don't blame her tbh. It's nice to have a regular income instead of a sporadic one a freelancer/youtuber would have.

yes she was, its understandable, we all want our own home. yeah i imagine she did, but also because she would need an income to afford a social life, holidays etc. it is nice to have a regular income, relying on youtube payments and sponsorships is tough going and especially if you have to chase companies for payment, it can be stressful i imagine and its not easy to financially plan long-term for things like mortgages and stuff. plus its nice knowing you have a payment at the end of every month instead of relying on freelance payments and not know how many you'll get the next month, if you'll get paid on time etc.

Did anyone else notice she said her hair was naturally golden and her roots are dark because of pregnancy hormones? I'm sure in other videos she's said her natural colour is dark brown! Is she trying to pretend she's a natural blonde now?
