Starting to think the baby is an accessory to/for her. Like yes all for mammies getting time away and having fun, however leaving your 2 month old to act like youre in your wild 20s is not cool imo. We all know she desperately wanted a kid so why is she acting like it's a fcking toy/accessory? so strange.

Don't think anyone's snarking on them for not showing their children. It's the inconsistencies. Mel has no bother using the child to show off baby clothes or spon work. Just because a child's face is blurred doesn't mean you still aren't exploiting that child for #gifted freebies or sponsorship opportunities.

Melanie has grossly over exaggerated people asking about the child's name, making reels for attention and clout. Shes also publically supported the sacconejoly's while they continue to exploit their sons curiosity. You can't be both. It's either safety and privacy for all children or it isn't.

I didn't realise we had to applaud influencers for yanno, protecting their children from predators and haters online. Common sense really.

So Yeah, I'll continue to snark when they are inconsistent about their child's safety when money's involved. Not speaking on Ais here as it's too soon to know.

Ah lads, I'm just watching her birth video now and the actual difference between her video and Melanie's. She actually expresses how she loves her son and how much she wanted to meet him and that was the end goal.
Melanie is so grim compared and the way she spoke of the staff and the tears compared to aisling.
I haven't watched aisling in a long time but I actually am delighted for her she defo seems to have such a good mindset towards pregnancy, birth and motherhood.
This is 100% like a response to Mel's I remember she did comment in Melanie's video and she was pregnant when that came out

She has serious body issues and obviously doesn’t eat much to stay that size. She looks smaller than most people do even if they haven’t had a baby. How can she do 10 thousand steps a day with a baby ? How can she leave her newborn for an entire weekend. If anything she seems a bit ocd and manic. Nobody wants to see anyone’s body after having a baby or not . It leads to comparison and fuels eating disorders. Is she small as in height wise? Because if she’s not very small height wise then and xs is tiny and possibly undeweight

Glad she had a positive birth. I don't find her all that annoying tbf. She sure doesn't like to be single for long... but what an exciting time for her all the same and would like to see things work out for her.

I don’t think the John John John apartment was in Dublin at all. I’m nearly sure that it was in Mullingar as well because she seemed to be back and forth to her parents every 5 mins. I think there’s also a video where she messes up and said that johns gone up to Dublin for the day and then put text into the video correcting herself saying that he works in Dublin but travels all over Ireland. She is very dedicated to her silly lie and I just love it

Just finished her video. Agree with you all, she seems so happy and at ease. Her video was really detailed and genuine, no bragging or smug attitude. No earth mama BS. Real and honest.

Honestly have to say one of the best birth story videos I've seen. She was there to get her baby out safely, didn't act like she knew better than the medical professionals and obviously didn't go in blind and was well researched on interventions etc.

Honestly delighted for her.

I'm Irish but home is North America. When we first came here I was nearly 27 and with my now husband nearly 7 years. All my friends here couldn't believe we were together so long & not even engaged never mind married. They thought it was so strange & the conversation even came up how I should leave him because of it! Then one of my colleagues who was 21 and with her boyfriend a little over a year came back from her lunch break engaged and no one thought that was strange at all. Gotta love cultural differences

That's really funny and I totally relate to that but opposite. I'm American but I live in Ireland. I got married at 25 to an Irish guy and baby at 27. Most people acted like I was a child bride and a lot of people asked if the baby was an accident (he wasn't). My husband's friends are mostly in super long term relationships but not even discussing marriage yet. Their relationships are just as serious as my own and I'd say they'll get married eventually but it seems like people here tend to wait longer. Nothing wrong with that. I'm sure if we Americans did the same then the divorce rates wouldn't be so high as someone else mentioned. The housing situation here also doesn't help - makes it harder for people to marry and have kids young. But yes I'd say in a group of 27 year old lads here, it's safe the say that the vast majority of them would not have kids yet. I read that only 17 percent of new dads are in their 20s here.

I think people from around the world have this perception of Ireland from back in the day when everyone was super Catholic and had loads of children starting very young. That wasn't that long ago and it's a very stark contrast to the way things are now.
