I know this thread is highly inactive, but out of interest has anyone here unfollowed her because of her blatant and over the top body checking? I swear she wants to be viewed as a fragile little bird as much as possible.
And the dressing like a child thing creeps me out.

Ok...? Thanks for letting us know I guess lol. Do people above the age of 17 still post crap like this? 😆

All she does is cry on camera and mumble her songs. I used to like her but all her music literally sounds the same and it's boring. I'd like to see something fresh from her but can't see that happening.

Sorry to post here but my algorithm just showed me a reel of Hazel and I stopped following her years ago. With is going on? She is 39 but acting like she is 19, posting mostly underwear photoshoots that she then encourages you to go to Patreon to see more off and is like a teenager who has just discovered they are gay. What in the what? Then I spotted Dodie in a recent pic on a beach looking emaciated and can't believe they all still hang out and do.... What exactly? Absolutley wild!

I don’t know if there’s a Hazel thread on Tattle but this reminds me of how Hazel in the last year has wanted to make it SUPER CLEAR she smokes. “Look guys here’s a selfie of me smoking. Here’s a clip of a cigarette in my hand. Here’s a meme about smoking. A photo of me smoking again. Haha look wine and a cigarette after a yoga retreat.”

They both need to grow up it’s so embarrassing

It's giving "we peaked in 2016 but could never be our true selves because of our younger audience dynamic back then"

I kinda forgot Dodie existed
I used to like her when she first started YouTube but now she looks insufferable and no longer relatable
I’ve always hated the way she sings too

Does she have to do everything under the influence of weed? I have no issues with it but I'm sure it would've been just as enjoyable without the edible.
also why does she feel the need to let everyone know, as if we’re going to see that and be like ‘oMG!!! no WAY!!! she did not do that she’s sOOOOooO crazy!!🤣😂’ like girl no one cares, do what you wanna do but posting about it bc you think it makes you cool is cringey

Always irritated me how she pulls so many strained faces when she sings, like she is singing really big notes. When really she’s whispering and barely even letting out a tune

I'm honestly surprised Dodie is part of this. Sharing the attention with others really isn't her style.

Any other vocals will show her weak voice up, particularly Orla's.

One thing that really bothers me about Dodie is that she supposedly has a chronic depersonalisation disorder, and is even a patron(?) for the charity Unreal about it. But then in the next breath she’s doing all these drugs and advocating for them to others, particularly weed, which is a known cause of depersonalisation disorder?! They should probably be vetting the people who work for the charity more since she is really not a good example…

i don't know much about grammy nominations but asking your fans to beg for a grammy nomination just seems so awkward to me

I feel like I 'grew up' with Dodie to some extent because we're the same age and I started watching her during the early days of her channel but oh my god as a 27 year old I could not imagine posting myself crying like that on social media. There's being vulnerable and open about mental health struggles and then there's being a dramatic attention seeker. She hasn't matured at all and I find her content boring now. Even her music has lost its appeal. How long can you listen to the same barely-there-whisper tracks when people like Billie Eilish are doing it better anyway? She's talented but IMO she doesn't have what it takes to make the jump to actual legitimacy because of the way she acts.

Hi guys long time lurker first time poster on dodie. Personally I used to follow her in the dodie yellow era but I’ve become increasingly tired, bored and frustrated with her “sleepy, zoned out, sad girl” persona. I’m not a fan of her music or singing, I think she just sounds congested and she hasn’t got much of a singing voice, she sounds like how I sing when I’m washing the pots up and can’t really be bothered. She’s not really got any substance because of the above described persona. Tired, zoned out, lonely damaged nostalgic girl. Yeugh. Just reminds me of the black and white, hand on a rainy window, meme.

i don’t think high in brighton is a great song but it's not a bad song either - if that makes sense? i assume it's well produced, i like orla's and martin's voices, i think they are amazing. so is greta and i don't mind dodie's two lines.
but the whole concept… i wanna be high in brighton, i wanna escape the real life? i don't know, i think it's dull, it's giving as-level music

I forgot Dodie existed, I haven’t listened to her music or watched her videos since I was 16. I’m 21 now. I can’t believe she’s still making the same music as before, all of her songs sound the same to me. Also, I see she’s still as much of an attention seeker as she used to be 😬

I've never been a fan but came here to say I was looking at the comments on Charlieissocoollike's coming out post and Dodie made it about herself by welcoming Charlie to the "she/they club". No congratulations, no happy for you, just Dodie reminding everyone of her own pronouns
