Do you still buy much physical media?

Mainly talking about books, CD's, DVD's etc.

I've not bought a CD since the 00's, never listen to them either. Same with DVD's, can't remember the last time I watched one and not owned a DVD player for years. I still buy loads of books but that's because I refuse to use a kindle. It's weird when you go in HMV and there's all these CD's and DVD's, I just wonder who buys them. I don't think that shop has changed in 20 years, looks the same as I always remember it.

I do miss the video shop though

I still buy paper books and borrow a lot from my local library. I have some CDs, mostly my childhood favourites, that have purely sentimental value.

Still have loads of dvds but haven’t bought any in years. Same with cds really.

I still buy physical copies of video games if it’s cheaper than buying the download version.

I do have CDs but only for the car, and I still 'burn' them too! I've started getting a few from Poundland, they seem to have a load of old 90s ones which suits me.

I still buy plenty of books too as I don't like reading them on a screen. I find DVDs are pretty much redundant now though.

I haven't bought CDs or DVDs in years. I have a kindle but it's just not the same as holding a book. I don't tend to buy books but love going to the library (pre covid 😞)

I am an absolute fiend for CDs, have about 9500 of them, all sleeved, labelled and alphabetically put into drawers. Also for some reason anything I read doesn't sink in the same if it's on a screen, so I have a lot of books, on a big oak bookcase. I figure once I turn 40 I'll invest in a high backed leather chair and a smoking jacket.

Yes. Books/dvds/CDs the lot. I absolutely despise e-readers and much prefer physical books I can curl up with. Whilst I’ll use Spotify day to day (it’s included in my phone plan) I’ll still buy my favourites physically because I just like to have them. I still buy dvds of stuff I like because it’s usually not on a streaming services. I also stopped paying for Netflix about 2 years ago when I realised how little I used it. I went more than 2 months without even opening the app so I cancelled it. I’ve not even missed it. It had got to the point I was only watching the same two or three things so seemed redundant and a massive waste of money. The same goes for Disney+ I already own my favourites so why would I pay twice.
