Do you ever take your rings off?

My rings come off as soon as I get in the house. I don’t like the feeling of jewellery on me especially for cooking, cleaning and showering. It’s like taking my bra off 😂

I hate rings so I don't wear them. I declined an engagement and wedding ring from himself for this reason. In saying that, I do have some costume jewellery that includes rings that I wear on nights out. I just don't like the feel of them day to day.

I never take any of my jewellery of. Sleep and shower etc in my rings, watch, bracelet, earrings and necklace. They are a mix of Cartier and Tiffany. Never had any problems with them. Id feel so weird without them on now haha

I never used to remove mine but they are white gold and I noticed they were yellowing quite quickly.

I had them redipped last year and I now remove them for showering, baking and washing my hands etc. but I wear them to bed.

I don't remove then to wash my hands kn public because I'm scared of losing one. But I have to be really careful if water sits underneath them as it aggrevates my eczema

Since the pandemic and wfh I've hardly worn either of mine. I love them but I never wore them to sleep in and trying to remember to put then on is a routine I haven't got in to yet
I could have written exactly this myself. Constantly washing hands and using hand sanitisers made me just keep my rings off for months on end. Now I’ll occasionally put my engagement ring on but my wedding ring feels too small now so I rarely wear it.

I am no longer married so don’t have to worry about this anymore but I took both my wedding ring and engagement ring off for showers and sleep, myself and my ex had a pug who ate anything in sight and I used to worry if they slipped off somehow in the night then the inevitable would happen. I do miss wearing rings. It’s only been a few years but when you’ve worn them for so long you feel a bit lost without them. (Deffo not lost without my crappy ex though lmao)

I take my engagement ring off for showers/baths/sleeping/cleaning. My wedding ring always stays on.

Is this normal? What do you do?

I suppose I could wear it whilst sleeping but I’m worried it will catch and the stones may fall out.
i never take my engagment or wedding rings off

I only wear my wedding ring and I never used to take it off. I started to take it off during covid because of the all the hand washing, antibacterial gel and hand cream I was using and now regularly take it off at home.

My husband has never been able to wear a wedding ring. He had one when we were first married and that irritated him. He tried two other rings over the years and the same thing happened. He gave up.

I’ve got engagement, wedding & eternity rings and they havnt been off my fingers since I received them! I have a bangle bracelet on one arm and charm bracelet on the other and they never come off either! Only thing I can’t stand wearing is a watch!

I only wear mine when I go out, I find rings annoying! They’re off for sleeping, sport, chilling at home and whenever I put hand cream on (several times a day).

Literally could have written this myself!

I take all my rings off occasionally but only when I have had household cleaning materials trapped under them and it has triggered contact dermatitis. I put them back on after a couple of days treatment with steroid cream and fingers have healed

I hardly ever take my rings or jewellery off. I wear 3 silver rings and a silver necklace and they never come off! However, I take my earrings out when I wash my hair - 3 lobe piercings in each.

This is exactly me! I hang my keys as soon as im home and take off my rings, they stay there until I grab my bag/keys/purse next time I leave the house and then they go back on. It's totally like taking my bra off, I read your comment and was like "yes girl" 😂
