I sincerely hope someone else does this so that I'm not a total freak.

Sometimes I feel sad for things that aren't real things and have no feelings. I've been known to keep hold of tissues all day cause I feel sad throwing them away. It's snowing today and I picked up a lump of snow on my walk back from work but then I couldn't drop it outside of my house cause I got sad that I'd hurt its feelings. I had to keep telling myself that it's a bit of snow and has no feelings!! It happens all the time!

I get my clothes out for morning the night before - I once went to work without a bra on as it was 6am, dark and I was half asleep. I put knickers/bra over the coat hanger of my top/bottoms so I don’t have to faff around in the drawer 😂

Always make my bed on a morning. Although I open my window (whatever the weather), pull the duvet back and air my bed while I go downstairs and have my coffee. Then I come back up and make my bed. Everyday without fail.

I’m really funny about smells and like rooms to smell nice constantly. I’m always spraying air freshener / turning the reed diffuser sticks

I like to go to sleep by 22:22. If it’s after it feels like a real late night. Rock and roll bitches

I have to do a spider check every night before I go in bed eg look behind the bed, and chest of drawers to see if there are any spiders lurking.

Ahh, I like it loose at the end. I hate it at hotels when they tuck the end of the bedding in. I do however, cocoon myself at the top... I love my face being between duvet and pillow
I have to have it loose but like tucked in around me. I sleep with the duvet in-between my legs. Makes for a difficult sleep in a sleeping bag

If I take a glass of water from the tap I have to fill and empty the water 3 times before I drink it
I could never just go fill a glass of water from the tap and drink it 🤢
Bedroom has to be spotless at all times never leave clothes out the night before Incase spiders I have a top drawer for clothes to wear that I leave them in each night I will get up from bed if I notice even half an inch of something sticking out of my drawers or if I see a wire behind the tv

I can't bear the thought of leaving a single word on its own line, like it'll become lonely. Each sentence must have a word friend next to it before the full stop. This has plagued me since childhood 😳

loads of people have to have the volume at an even number but I have to have it a certain level. Doesn't matter the number but one number too high is too loud and one number below is too quiet. I have sensory issues so I think that's why.

My mum used to find me hilarious when I was a child because I would never eat a packet of crisps if they were opened upside down. Nor would I eat a chocolate bar if it was broken before I opened it. I still check crisp packets are the right way up today before I open them 😂 I'm good with the chocolate now.

I always separate food and non food when packing my shopping at the supermarket. I could never put cleaning products in with food.
If you shop at Aldi/Lidl I'm very impressed you manage this when the checkout person scans and flings items at you at the speed of light 😂 I have to brace myself at the checkout every time like I'm about to run a gauntlet!

My quirks are the complete opposite of some on this thread 😂

I can’t bear the duvet tucked under my feet or too tight around me. It makes me feel trapped! The first thing I do when I get into a hotel bed is untuck the duvet.

I always stop the microwave with one or two seconds to go, I hate it beeping. And I don’t clear the remaining time off it either, don’t hate me 🤣

Just a thread about random little things you do and you wonder if anyone else does

E.g. When I pay my credit card or add to savings it always has to take it to a round number. Either a multiple of 5 or 10. And no pennies on the end.
I do something similar, I pay my credit cards and I'm left with an odd number so I take that odd figure and bung that into savings. For example after paying my cards I've got £2,168, I put the £168 into savings. (Oh and I have 2K in the bank at all times, it's my safety buffer)

I can't wear flip flops or any type of sandal where there's a bit that goes between the first and second toes. That feeling of that horrible bit being there goes right through me and makes me feel strange.

Also I just can't walk in them 😂 I can't understand how some people seem to live in them!

At the shops whether its clothes, underwear, food, drink, magazine etc I never take from the front of the shelf. I feel those items at the forefront are probably more germy because they've probably been picked up to be looked at then put back umpteen times. This use to drive mr pinkblush nuts but since covid he's shut up about me doing it.
You and I must be related, because that is exactly what I do

I have to peg washing out on the line in garment size order, pants, socks, tee shirts, shirts, and so on. My clothes pegs are green and blue so I have to alternate the colours.
I also have to have light switches level and empty sockets turned off.

I always a few leave beans in the can if I’m having beans on toast - I like to feel that some have escaped! If I feel that there isn’t enough left I’ll put a few back from the saucepan!

I have to have the sheet at the foot of my bed tucked in. Need to make sure no "scary monsters" can grab my feet in the middle of the night (a phobia I had when I was a kid, and still lingers 20 years on )
