Discontinued Games

Sorry if this thread isn’t appropriate or already been done!

I’d like to know which game (online/game console) you would like to see making a comeback? Or to even play once more?

I think for me, it would be YoVille (the game that was pretty popular on Facebook back then, it’s still going now but not as popular as it used to be) or Club Penguin (there have been many copies of CP coming back but unfortunately, after the last one was shut-down due to attracting the WRONG kind of audience and a ton of child safety risks, I definitely think CP won’t be returning (from Disney or a copy) anytime soon.

I don’t suppose anyone remembers a comic strip creating website called ToonDoo? Spent most of my days as a 11-13 year old on there. I remember hearing that the website was shut down in 2018? 19? by the company after a huge hack and data leak but I think the declining popularity the site had was the main reason why they closed the site for good.

I would love the facebook games to come back but not on facebook as im not on there (I miss them) farmville and all them

Mafia Wars on Facebook! One of the only games on there that a fair few of my fb friends played.

I’m also dying for a Red Dead Redemption remake. Not sure if it’s classed as ‘discontinued’ but it’s only available to buy on Xbox. You have to stream it on PlayStation via psplus (which is laggy), and it’s not available at all on pc. Since rdr2 came out this seems so wrong! Rdr2 is a prequel and those playing that without ever playing the first game may not be able to back and play rdr1 and technically finish the story. Rockstar keep their cards close to their chest on basically everything so no one knows if it’ll ever happen, but it’s very much wanted by fans of the franchise. It makes so much sense so I really hope they do it one day.

I loved Tekken was I was a kid (grew up with a brother so we were always on fighting games )
We had it on our PlayStation 1 and would always look for an arcade version whenever we went to one.

I also had loads of PC games when I was a kid, Noddy, Barbie, My Little Pony. They were so much more enjoyable to what I imagine today’s youth play on their iPads and Nintendo Switches.

They’ve remade this. It’s now called Two Point Hospital and you can get it on pretty much any platform! Such a good game.

I would love a remake of Black and White 2 or a good remake rollercoaster tycoon. I know Planet Coaster is the remake for rollercoaster tycoon but the UI is so clunky I can’t play it for long.
I literally screamed when I heard they were releasing a mass effect remaster next month

You can still download theme park hospital from a site online. I’ve got it on my Mac. Love it!
