Hands up. I'm not very imaginative .
Just seen a comment on DS saying most over 70s haven’t got internet, based on guessing and data. What a stupid comment , and insulting to those of us who have been on the internet for many years!
There are a few who imagine anyone over the age of 40 is past it - they're probably only about 12 themselves.
Stewing was a woman and claimed to have terminal cancer at one point so possibly dead (if they were being genuine of course).

Out of curiosity, did anyone else have encounters with the user called Damon Plembury?
I know he was a bit of an irritant in General Discussion but I clashed with him a few times in the high octane world of the Eurovision sub-forum (
) when he couldn’t accept people had different opinions.
That of course isn’t unusual but he would SHOUT HIS RESPONSES AT YOU in the hope his opinion (the correct one in his eyes) was heard loudest of all. He derailed numerous threads doing that and started getting personal in his attacks.
After he was (eventually) banned, he appeared days later on the Eurovision forum under a new name (that mimicked my user name of all things) and attempted to fit in but didn’t keep up the presence of being someone else for very long as he started SHOUTING AGAIN!
The result? Another ban!
It’s certainly a less lively part of DS without him now, that’s for sure...

Thankyou for your message. I still look at the forums and it’s so frustrating when I see a post that I’d like to respond to, and can’t. I don’t think I said anything warranting a ban , unlike the well known gang on DS who get away with ban worthy posts with impunity.
I do have an idea of who got me and my fellow poster banned, and I’m sure you can guess!
I didn’t know if she/he was damning me with faint praise when he said he can’t imagine me saying anything ban worthy! That could mean I’m too bland and dull to be controversial or perhaps that I’m too nice! Perhaps the Finisher could join us on here while still remaining on DS?

I got your message thanks, I’m the finisher. I didn’t know this site existed! I was going to PM you here but it seems I’m not allowed yet. I couldn’t believe it when I saw earlier that you were banned...as was the poster I went to PM to find out why you were banned. Yes I can guess what happened.

I dunno how long youve been on d.s but the moderation seems stricter these days with threads being cropped and folks getting banned. Though maybe it was always so, though I can't remember it being.

I read some of the thread on DS when it all kicked off over the weekend - before the cull - and I just assumed the references to posts on another site were talking about dogs.
Now I’m halfway through this thread I realise they meant here, and I see that half of DS are also here
Oh I've had posts reported for sure and I do have discussions it's just that I never let it go so far as to get me banned.
Sounds like you haven't had the pleasure of the pack descending on you - they would try the patience of a saint!
