I'm convinced that Sherewq is either a phishing bot, or somebody heavily on the spectrum. They endlessly post in the Soaps section but never once have they replied to any of the threads they start.

Oddly they have contributed to a couple of other threads today which surprised me. They were quite long running threads so I didn’t look to see if they were threads they had originally started or not

I don't mind Sherewq or ednuzio (whatever his name was, but pretty sure they're the same person). I like answering his questions and reading others answers. I don't get why so many posters are rude to him.

The Channel 4 Big Brother forum was so good. Was gutted when they closed it down and things moved to Digital Spy, which seems to have gone from bad to worse.

Okay so I’m a hypocrite because I use it but that US Presidential Election thread in Broadcasting has turned into a political thread and really should’ve been closed long ago. Tanya is so good to me but when it comes to politics, she’s irritating. I just don’t want to tell her because it’s mean.

Unfortuantely yes. I mentioned him upthread. He's another poster who I think might have died.

I vaguely recall some of the names mentioned here. One weird female poster was obsessed with Russell Brand and was in the audience of BBLB when he hosted it. She would constantly refer to him shoving his arse in her face like it was some sort of flex.

I wonder if it’s the same poster that after the RB allegations came out, referred to a clip of BBBM interacting with her in the same way as creepy and uncomfortable and didn’t know whether to now report? I don’t know if it’s the same person as he used to do stuff like that regularly.

There was a really nice member on DS called Pumping Iron. Mixed English-Chinese from iirc East Mids. He got banned simply for writing a comment wisely advising someone not to get into transgender discussions on the forum.

Chap from Ireland called Plums and Pearls, I liked his posts. He did join AVF and posted for a while, before announcing he was taking a back seat. He didn’t say why, but fair enough.

Also a very nice poster was Laureline. Highly smart, intelligent professional lady, but never came across as up herself or superior or anything like that. She is French-German, speaks those languages plus, she writes in perfect English. She was on DS and joined AVF.

Do you remember a French user called 'Pierre' ? I think they got banned suddenly. There was also a Japanese woman called 'Takea' who I think was also banned.

It is apparently actually allowed (MOST moderators of Internet sites are actually just power tripping losers who lack a sense of proper reasoning) but what really pisses me off is that they shut down the politics board and now the political threads are in Broadcasting.

There was Grand Dizzy, who was very opinionated but really showed his true colours in a thread about catcalling. He confessed to seeing "unattractive" women in the street, riding up slowly behind them on his bike and whistling, but "quietly" apparently. He argued that he was trying to boost their self-confidence or something, and got really angry with the majority who told him he was a creep.
