I thought exactly this. I am 30, and not yet been on a date or had a partner, and the majority of my friends have partners and or married, and quite a few have children. There is a small part of me that is jealous about that, but there is absolutely no way that would stop me from wanting to see my friends or hear about their life. Surely you’d be happy for them and happy to spend time with friends, more than your own agenda and jealousy.I find it sad that she can’t hang out with friends who talk about their families around her. It sounds so insecure that like she just can’t be happy for them and makes it about herself.
I wonder if these same friends find it triggering when she walks around with a Chanel bag that they can’t afford.
Exactly this. Im so glad you have that attitude. I’m late 30s and my coworker is pregnant and I’m really happy for her. Don’t know if it’ll ever happen to me, and it is a little disappointing because it almost did, but it’s not my co-worker’s fault it hasn’t. I absolutely am thrilled for her and constantly check in how she is doing. For all I know, maybe she has had trouble in the past too. She got really nasty and defensive a few months ago when a follower asked her if she would consider being a cruelty free influencer. Also when someone asked her what it's like living in Crawley. God every time she shows off her nails it makes me feel sick because she has such skeletal hands and the colours and glitter she goes with are so old fashioned!
I think being a bit defensive may be a personality trait of hers. I saw a TikTok where someone had asked a (possibly provocative) question about why she crated her dog and her response was very, very defensive. She definitely could have been more measured and reasoned in her tone but you can see she is literally seething that someone has dared question her decision. I found it quite uncomfortable to watch and thought she really didn't come across well and I believe in crate training.
