I absolutely believe this. I’ve done it myself! But the cheap clothes like that aren’t made for our older bodies, they’re made for teens/twenty somethings - the fabrics used aren’t kind to bodies over a certain size or with cellulite - I know!! She’d be better buying a less fast fashion and investing in a few key pieces that fit her frame better. She has a flat stomach and an hourglass figure, she’d definitely find better, more flattering clothing elsewhere. Not necessarily designer either. Also I’m a massive believer in dressing how you want, I’m in my forties and have my own style which is probably a bit younger, but I know what suits me. Fast fashion hauls are a bit icky these days and she does them far too regularly.
