Guys, its a game changer for applying make up, genuinely looks so much more flawless with no facial hair.

I’ve been doing it myself for years. I get sterile scalpels off Amazon and do my whole face. You just need to make sure that your face is clean and dry (no moisturisers beforehand) and make sure you pull the skin tight in the area that you’re shaving. I’ve only ever had 1 or 2 nicks when I first started. It’s not worth £45 in my opinion for something you can do yourself in 10 mins. You can get those twinkle razors (I think they’re called)

I buy these and do it at home. Use a facial oil as it helps make the razor glide and don’t go over the same area a lot of times. I’ve never cut myself and I can really notice the difference in skincare and make-up application! I do it religiously every 3 weeks now 🙂
Which facial oil do you use please? Can it also be bought from boots?

When’s the best time to do it? Just before I have a shower? Do you get breakouts like you do sometimes when you shave your face with a razor? And how many times should I be using the blade before binning it?
So many questions haha 😅

I do it anytime but usually in the evening after I have cleansed my face. I've never broken out after doing it. I used a new blade every time because they are cheapie ones from Superdrug but if I had a scalpel type one I'd cleanse it before and after each use in surgical spirit.

I did mine in the evening too, just after cleansing.
I'm 3 days in and no shaving rash or anything like you may get on your legs. I'm still so impressed, my skin looks so much better and my make up sits so much nicer now. I used to find foundation would make the hairs so much more obvious, so its great not having them there!!
I've only done it once but I may use the same blade again next time and see if I feel it needs replacing again after. I literally only moved it down 10 or so times so it isn't worn at all. Go for it!!! X

I’ve done it! Used a bit of oil because the sound of the blade scraping against my skin freaked me out 😬 only thing it I’m quite red now, and my skin is stinging 😰 is this normal?

I've only done it once so not sure I'm qualified to comment, but mine didn't sting after and I don't think I was red. Might be for other people though. I bet in the morning its settled down for you.
Hurrah for doing it though! I still love how my skin is. I have a bit of regrowth I can feel now so I'll probably do it again at some point this week.

It is looking a little less red this morning, do you think I’ll be okay to wear makeup tomorrow to work?

Is once a month too much or is that alright? My hairs are growing back already, last did it around the 10th October

I do mine every 3-4 weeks. If you’re finding your skin is stinging/red afterwards, use a hydrating serum / moisturiser. I really rate this one and it’s less than £5!
