I’m honestly quite disappointed.
I actually kind of liked Demi. I mean, her content has been a bit all over the place for a while but I thought she was a bit more genuine than some of the other ‘influencers’ (if genuine and influencer can exist together that is) but definitely showing her true colours.
I can’t stand this whole ‘I take criticism’ line and then freaks out at the first sign to a differing opinion you tubers seem to have.
Why is it these people think they should be allowed to say what they want and make videos on what they want and if people don’t like it or have any issues about it, they should just say nothing? Very much double standards.
You always know someone can’t think of anything to say when they pull out the ‘you’re just sad’ argument.
Shame really.

Honestly, I haven't put anything to this forum before but I found this from her Youtube comments from her latest video where alarmingly a lot of comments have been deleted for obvious reasons. I think if she ever had any intention of owning up to her mistakes, she wouldn't be deleting comments and she would have done it as soon as people had started seeing sense. It's like shes trying way too hard to be liked?? Why MAKE AND video of Newcastle's worst previewed makeup artist if you had no intention of playing along to the rules??
The one thing that annoys me about Demi, other than her constant lying and manlipulation of her viewers, is that she tries to be funny. There is nothing funny nor fairly unique about Demi other than her face. She reminds me of the usual 20 whatever year old you see trying way too hard to be liked for views and subscribers, there is nothing even remotely interesting about her in all honesty.
Her weight loss idea of being vegan? Absolute bollocks! We don't know what else she's cramming in her gob other than the shit she includes on Instagram and I DOUBT she just drinks fizzy on weekends (as said in her McDonald's vlog.) If she has shown herself untrustwrothy about something quite major already than how can we trust her about the diet? She honestly reminds me of Amberlynn Reid. A manlipulating twat who has no intention of losing weight.

What a sad excuse for an ‘influencer’. Pic on the left is from abbey’s Instagram two weeks ago. Same rings, tattoo and acrylics so there’s no doubting it.

I am not surprised at the lows that youtubers go to make money.
But what message are you sending to young girls/adults with all these hauls. Do you admit on your channels that you return the majority of the items and you are just showcasing for content/Adsense!!
And no you do not have a legal right to return items bought in stores, it is down to a stores return policy if they have one. Think you need to brush up on your Consumer Contracts Regulations. But like ASOS closing down accounts for serial returners the minority will ruin return policies for the majority!!
I have an opinion that showcasing clothes haul which is monetised then returning the items is unethical. This is not being bitter!!

I’m sure we have many Influencers who have come her to try and swing the narrative of their thread,
It’s just such a shame for this girl because her thread was really quiet mild, she was getting support from people who were on the fence about her.
On threads like these that doesn’t happen much.
She stirred the pot as both amber (allegedly) and as herself and that’s sad, I know if I was an Influencer I’d have taken on board what was being said, probably cried a bit, but then tried to prove everyone wrong by changing the content I was being called out for.
What I WOULDN'T have done was come onto a site that discusses my work colleagues and actively go on to participate in speaking negatively about them or try and start threads against them. Amber might come on and participate again who knows.
But if I was any of those Influencers spoken about I’d be really, really pissed off and want an explanation.

I have no disrespect for people who live in council houses but she literally is the council house version of a insta influencer.
The photoshopped birthday balloons because all the other insta models do it, the candid posing on a car with PLT clothes on (which do not do anything for her they are scrunched up on her fanny and her knee and look like shes worn them for 3 days, dont even start me on them being tucked in) the primark version of Alexander Mcqueens, the clickbait videos that are such poor quality its cringe, the candid typical insta model poses down the ally ways of the estate she lives in.
Honestly if she stopped trying to be like these other influencers and be original and herself which is how she started then people will subscribe and like her videos and content. Until then the constant copying, fakeness and absolutely irrelevant ads will just continue to annoy people and she will be back at the job centre in 6 months.

I'm so glad that Demi showed herself up in this thread! 
Before Demi got 'big' (between 15k - 30k subs) she was involved in a few scandals where she was caught out lying and then desperately tried to hide the evidence in the form of deleted vids, tweets and posts etc.
I came on here a while back reading some people's posts about how 'genuine' and 'down to Earth' she was and I felt really annoyed that people weren't able to see how two faced she really was after hiding all the evidence.
One of the things she got caught out was faking mental illness and making light of it (you can probably see this reflected in dips in her subs last year as people unsubbed in disgust) - she had outed herself as clearly not having depression after making light of it - at which point she subsequently deleted all the corresponding vids and posts (an admission of guilt).

If makes me so annoyed whey they have 100,000+ followers and get 100's of messages per day worshiping them but call us 'sad' for having a negative opinion on them and go on like they are normal people just doing their hobby. This is also aimed at Brummy etc. They are in an industry worth a lot of money, extremely well paid but only expect the roses. It pisses me off.
I have watched this girl's career from afar and I can truly say she is one of the most careless Youtubers I have ever seen - ever.
There are so many uncomfortable jump cuts, sometimes mashing up half sentences (so one scene will cut into halfway through another), she doesn't mix the sound properly so her levels are terrible, her introduction looks like a Windows Media Player effort from 2002.
If she does not rectify the situation her progress will continue to plateau (she's not gained many subs lately - stayed stagnant at around 155k).
Her content is also minimal effort content so its important that what she does do is done well, those videos can be cut and completed in about two hours by someone competent.
Fair enough if you have had success on a platform like Youtube but please do take the time to improve yourself as your audience grows.
A scandal like this on her record is surely a bit of a nail in the coffin to be honest as she's already not even that good in front of camera, I spend more time watching her outtakes where she's trying to drag her personality out of herself and force an unnatural intro.
