He has always been a creepy fook and would not trust him with my cat let alone a young person. He sexualises everything and everyone! Gross 🤢

No because unless you're on a site like this you wouldn't have even heard about it.
But we know the DM and other media outlets stalk Tattle for their stories so you’d think if there was anything in it they would have reported it.

I think he might be bi? Whatever he is, he’s a predator though.
Yes I don't think straight, gay or bi - they all imply healthy relationships.

I refuse to buy his books for my kids because he gives me the creeps. He strikes me as the type who will have horrible, unsavoury things come out about him in the future. I have no tea and don't know him or know anyone who does, he just give me the willies.
Yes it's always the future, when they're dead and gone. Their multiple employers and lawyers and publicists and whoever else protects these people, know everything right now, as we speak.

This thread is a slow one so I'm replying to old messages, but I had to say something about this. Nobody else seems to remember Capturing Mary! Yes, he was convincingly creepy in that drama. It gave me chills.

I've had a bad feeling about David Walliams for absolutely ages, but feel as if I'm always waiting for something incriminating to emerge. Nothing's affected his career so far. 🤷‍♀️

Speaking about his inappropriate behaviour on TV, I also think it's so immature. It's as if he doesn't know how to behave in public and has no awareness of other people's boundaries. And maybe I have no sense of humour, but I don't see why pretending to have sex with men is so hilarious? Oh look...it looks like they're having sex but they're not really...such wit. Did anyone see the panel show (it was either 8 Out of 10 Cats or Would I Lie to You) where he did the same to Phil Spencer. It was so uncomfortable to watch, not because I'm prudish, but because poor Phil looked so awkward. Just did a quick Google search but can't find the episode online.
I'd never heard of 'Capturing Mary!' I do enjoy Maggie Smith so I might give it a go. I think Walliams probably operates just the right side of legal when it comes to age but adores inviting the young fans by. He comes across as a guy who cant quite control himself. Something in the eyes. Is being very careful because he's a Dad and his ego wants him to be British stalwart actor and respected author blah blah blah. He is 50 so let's see how the midlife crisis suits him.

I haven't seen David Walliams on TV for ages. Is this because I'm not watching much TV or has he been cancelled somehow? Even forgot I was following this thread lol.
He's been doing Australia's Got Talent so probably why he's not been around lately. But I did see him on Lorraine recently promoting a new book. He has a new Gangsta Granny adaptation coming out too, I believe they're filming at the moment.

I thought he was ripping off the persona/style of Frankie Howerd from the Carry On films. I remember even reading an interview where he said he needed to change his name for Equity and inspired by Frankie (real surname Howard) he changed his real surname from Williams to Walliams.

Had no idea he was such a creep. Not surprised though.

Edit - I didn't know he'd played Frankie in 2007...I assumed he'd copied him waaaaaaay before that.

Always thought he was a bit OTT on the talent shows. Simon seems to be tolerating him a bit more now.

I read that as 'What shirt did Louis Walsh have on Simon Cowell?' and in my minds eye could see Louis trying to dress Simon in a big pink flowery number. It's early, I clearly need more tea.
It's alright Dotty, we all understand the confusing things that can happen pre-caffeine. 😝 One morning I put the milk carton seal into the washing up bowl instead of the bin.

I'm wondering if anything unsavoury about Cowell will come out in the new documentary about Clifford.

As for Walliams, he's a creep but a clever one. He never mentions his child. I don't even know he has a son or a daughter. His ex wife has battled her own demons - I think I'd probably turn to drink if I was married to someone like him.
oh wow I didn't even know there was a Clifford doc in the pipeline.. thought everyone had conveniently forgot about him and all the secrets died with him.... didn't know about Walliams's child either, at least it doesn't ring a bell. Poor kid and ex 😔

I thought he was gay for years, then I found out he liked women and was shocked. Found it kind of off putting that his ‘camp persona’ is just an act for tv. Idk something doesn’t sit right with me about a straight man acting overly camp. Fine if that’s how you genuinely are but we know DW isn’t genuinely camp in the slightest.

And yes he always gave me odd vibes whereas Matt Willis never did really. Coming on to teenage girls who are over the age of consent is seeedy af but unfortunately not illegal unless there was a lack of consent or grooming.

A bit of a stretch admittedly and somewhat of a thrown comment but JR likes to be edgy and say things for shock value. He may not have gay or bi tendencies at all but doesn’t know when to keep quiet and over shares. He’s got a prurient SOH proven by the Brand fiasco and now these comments. These days things come back to haunt people as this proves.

An unfortunate turn of phrase. Sorry.

I presume he is taking this to court because his conversations were recorded, kept and shared without his consent.
Which is a valid point.
It doesn't take away from his documented behaviour, of course. That's a different conversation.
If he has been pushed back towards his depressive/suicidal episodes, then that isn't pleasant and there are questions to be raised about the recordings and release. Of course there are. But I expect a rational debate isn't what tattle is for. Fair enough.

He totally gives me the creeps.

Apparently he was chasing after that Ashley James for ages after his divorce and virtually harrassed/ stalked her with unwanted attention.
