So here’s my q. How do you all choose to end dates if you’re a) interested b) not? I always feel awkward regardless

Can I just say it's not wrong to want that company, companionship and support that comes from a (good) relationship. It's perfectly understandable to feel like that, I think we all have those moments from time to time.

Slightly different note, but do you ever find yourselves thinking back over incidents (sometimes decades ago) and thinking why did I do X, or why didn't I do Y? I was incredibly awkward in my teens and early 20s so I have MANY such memories. I've just had one pop into my head from my uni days (30+ years ago) when I went to the room of someone I knew (and had the biggest unrequited crush on for the entire 3 years) and he had a poster on his wall of the play I'd been in - even though he didn't come and see it although his mates did (and left at the interval as they thought it was the end 🤦‍♀️😂😂) Any normal person would surely have mentioned the poster, but of course I didn't, and nor did he 😂😂😂

The worst thing is I couldn't 100% say I'd handle that kind of situation any better now! I wish I was that person who can just say things.

Yeah I think it’s normal to look back on life and reflect on our experiences and behaviours

I am just the same. So many moments.

i also think about situations in which I failed to assert myself.
