Nowhere in any of the responses is that’s what’s said.

Her girlfriend is excellent at replying. Fair play. The only bit that doesn’t quite tally with what she’s said about it being the new world of advertising, is the faux “does anyone have any recommendations......”.

I don't think that Is what he is implying at all ! I think he was commenting on the fact she has posted non stop for weeks that she has been ill...

That's the bit that irritates me about her, she is more than capable of googling items for herself but it's the non to subtle way they all have for begging for freebies !

I’m prob in the wrong thread as I really like DV, but I thought her post about chronic illness was actually spot on.

i don’t think people can understand unless they go through it themselves or have someone close that does. I like that’s she’s raising awareness with a post like that - resonated a lotwith me.

I’ll go to the rave section now

TBH I think most people on here quite like Dani. Personally I find the constant "I have a girlfriend" posts pretty cringey but hell, she's young and in love so whatever. She is clearly privileged and like lots of IGers more than a bit beggy on occasion but I think she's quite sweet generally and I feel sorry for her being in constant pain (although (shoot me) I can't help but think she'd be more comfortable if she lost even a little bit of weight (and yes I know it's not easy for everyone)).

I'm agreement in most liking her, she is certainly one of the least offensive amongst her click.
I think the comment last night does not deserve all the vitriol that is being thrown at it ...I would suggest that there are many , myself included , that have pondered on occasion how she can state repeatedly that she is unwell and taken to the sofa or her bed but in the next breath she is on a road trip off to some hotel or night out. I think it's a shame she has responded so aggressively to this current criticism, which I believe was a genuine question, rather than use her platform to educate in a kinder manner.

She was being needled. She’s responded eloquently and if it’s still a challenge to accept you/one can be ill the day before yesterday (for example) yet doing things in the present (that will likely have physical repercussions) then as she says, you do you.

I like her a whole lot. The begging seems to be a business tactic deployed by all of them. It’s unseemly but, worth it I guess?

I think her girlfriend responded in a cool and eloquent manner. It seems to have got out of hand. It’s not a great for the advert for the hotel that it all kicked off on her insta. I think she’s found love which is lovely for her, but as far as being an influencer goes, she’s lost her way.

I’m really pleased that someone with a large following is addressing chronic invisible illness. If you looked at my insta feed you’d think I was well when in reality I just post every time I manage to do something, every time I manage to put make up on etc. Anything I do/ attend is planned for, rested for and paid for in pain, tears and days/ weeks in bed later.
