I don't know if I'm reading too much into this, but was there anything that ever made you think this wasn't intentional before you found out about the industrial park?

From watching the crash documentary i initially thought that it was her either fallen asleep at the wheel or she had lost control somehow . I also thought that they were on the way back home at the time. Its only since i watched the mean girl murders and many tiktoks with people explaining more did i come to the conclusion that it was intentional. I honestly thought that she was just acting like a spoiled bratty selfish teenager - rather than having any intention of causing harm.
I agree this series isn't as engaging for some reason and the endings are a little odd.
Okay. I thought the Crash documentary was very clear that:
- she floored 99mph nonstop in the final few seconds of the crash, which could not happen if you've fallen asleep at the wheel or blacked out
- she didn't lose control, because the road had bends which the car took without fail until there was a building directly ahead that she could crash into and there was no braking at any point (which someone losing control & without intent would intuitively attempt at least)
I wonder if she was male would anyone even spend a second doubting her intent.
Megs sister was given salt and has a kidney transplant as a child. Likely victim one.
The mother was a walking red flag and scary that the documentary said she is now an influencer under another name for older people. Aside from the MBP she was a total fraudster too.

I thought the same but think they mentioned husbands and the Dad's of the older children. I don't think that would have been legal to marry if trans back then.

I have only just watched this and oh my goodness I am gobsmacked… there were so many WTF moments - the key one for me being the low flying prop plane over the Atlantic. That poor pilot put his life in danger and had the most traumatic experience that still haunts him. The whole thing was just extraordinary.The Mother of all Cons on iPlayer.

Both of the Rachel Nickell documentaries/ docu- series are so utterly heartbreaking, iv never stopped crying watching them. What Alex and Andre endured was simply harrowing.
Are they on Netflix? As a teenager I couldn’t get my head around something like that happening in a public place in broad daylight.
Yes on Netflix. I always remember it happening and often wondered about little Alex. Iv seen things about them over the years, but the documentaries and docu series is really in depth. It's lovely to see Alex and André remaining so close and with a clear bond. But the footage of little Alex dressed in his thunderbirds outfit describing his mum being attacked is the stuff of nightmares.
Rachel looked like such a ray of light, she seemed so beautiful inside and out.
