I don’t think she planned it. I think she threw a tantrum of rage and didn’t stop to consider the consequences. I think she thought herself untouchable and was never taught to be responsible for her actions. She’s a very narcissistic, spoilt individual who has learned nothing. The “little girl lost”, wide-eyed innocent look is all a manipulative act.
there’s another doc and she drove the route 7 times in the days before.
Maybe for her and her parents involvement they asked for certain bits to be held back?
if you listen carefully she also says to her Lawyer ‘was that good’ after her interview.

I watched it and holy mit - what a crazy story. I just honestly can't not think she's an absolutely idiotic self obsessed teenager but not a murderer. The whole thing gave me salem witch trial vibes and as much as I disliked her as a person, I was just grateful that social media wasn't around when I was that age.... there were flags for me with this whole thing. I personally don't think justice was served by her spending most of her life in prison. Absolutely tragic for all involved, and my heart broke for the parents. ETA all the parents, even if hers came across as idiots.

I watched the other night too and OMG, that girl deserves all she gets. She deffo crashed on purpose. I also thought I heard them say that she was 16 at the time of the crash and she'd been with Dom for 3 years, so when they got together she was 13 and he was 17? What the hell were her parents thinking allowing that to happen?

I think the other true crime documentary was called mean girls ( series 2 I think ). I also watched a TikTok earlier and the person mentioned this documentary and also mentioned that Netflix had left out that she had driven the route several times in the days prior to the crash ..

re the lawyer . Am convinced she will try and appeal again hence the being coached on what to say . None of that interview came across as her being remorseful or genuine .

eta - there are also quite a few TikTok’s of her mum on the phone to ( wow - perimenopause brain .. can’t remember her name 🤔🙄😳) whilst she is in jail. If the calls are genuine then she comes across as a spoilt brat - the number of tantrums about this that or the other she has whilst on the phone ..

I watched it a few days ago.
Her parents were awful. Their child was not badly behaved… why did the school have you go in so much? Then her mum being pulled up by the judge during the victim impacts. You totally saw where their child got it from.

Death in apartment 603 - the case of Ellen Greenberg . Disney+

A 3 part doc about Ellen’s death - feel like the documentary has just scratched the surface and there is way more to this case than what’s been covered .

I want to find out more ..

I can’t understand why this was considered to be a suicide ...

Just finished the crash - she got 15 years before considered for parole, how does prison in america work why are the TikTok comments saying she will never be accepted parole?

I don’t know how it works but apparently she’s had behavioural warnings inside, which means she’s not really taking accountability or showing remorse. Which is extremely unsurprising

I watched the mean girls episode about Kenzie t last night. There was a couple of interesting details that did not make it into the Netflix doc . This has been mentioned above but Kenzie had previously driven the same route that she crashed. This was approx 3 days before the actual crash . The doc showed a clip of her phone which proved that the same route had been driven before . This was shown on her phones GPS / previous location app. The other interesting fact is that where she crashed is an industrial park - I thought that she was driving home however no she actually drove Dom & Davion to an industrial park .
There were also a few audio clips played that Dom recorded on his phone of Kenzie whilst at his house where she was clearly very angry and issuing “ threats” to Dom because he wouldn’t go and open the door.

something else that was pointed out was that in all the clips that Kenzie posted of herself on social media she is not once seen wearing a seat belt yet on the night of the crash she is wearing one .

The driving to an industrial park has now led me to think that this was intentional on her part and that Davion was collateral. There would be no reason for her to be driving in an industrial park at 5am.

Just found this:
The episode of Mean Girl Murders focusing on Mackenzie Shirilla, can be found in Season 2, episode 7, titled 'Under the influence'. All episodes of the series can be found on HBO Max or via Discovery+.

I watched it on HBO Max . It might be worth checking if Amazon prime have hbo channel included in their additional channel options . If they do then you might get a free 7 day trial . Annoyingly this was not offered through the HBO Max app directly . 😖
ETA - discovery+ do offer a free trial so maybe try them first ( if you haven’t already signed up )

Sorry to those who have moved on from the Kenzie Schrilla documentary but more interesting stuff coming out . A TikTok video has popped up with more information that wasn’t aired in the Netflix show .

This is the TikTok :-

Be more pacific are you going to spill the Tea?
Sorry to keep you hanging on but I have no tea 😂 I'd never heard of this case before I watched the programme. I was so angry afterwards that I was all prepared to have a big rant but I have calmed down since and I've had a nice week with my OH so not much time to write. I may be back to share my thoughts (most of which others have already covered) but I think the less I think about Kenzie, the better it is for me. What an absolute self absorbed, vacuous, immoral, truly horrible bleep she is. The kind of girl I would loathe if I knew her in real life (even before what she did)

On another note, I've just started watching something called The Many Lives of Benjaman Kyle. Never heard of this case before. Think it's on HBO Max but I've just watched the first episode on ok.ru (that's where I watch most of my crime stuff to be honest - John Aylward IYKYK) and going to watch the second now. I'm intrigued. The final two episodes are being aired tonight so should be available on ok.ru tomorrow. Any giveaway comments in spoilers please 🙏🏻

I’ve spent ages to figure out who Kenzie reminded me off and it was a young girl who was in Gypsy Sisters called Jackie Dee. Jackie Dee behaved nothing like Kenzie.

I watched Twisted Sisters on Channel 5s YouTube channel. About the two sisters who ran into the motorway, survived and then one of them ended up a stabbing a man who tried to help a few days later.

I had never heard of this case before. The footage is pretty raw as the police were being filmed for Traffic Cops when they get called to the sisters. So you do see everything. I couldn't get over how they both got hit and then one of them got up and had the strength to run from police and into the traffic again and then physically fought off officers. Almost felt non human

I can't find the post where someone mentioned this so it's probably a different thread - Reported Missing on BBC one. I've watched some of a previous series
