It’s a flimsy tent you’d take to a festival, not a bell tent.

Yeah they’ve described both the one they were living in with FF and the one they used when “on the run” with Victoria as “festival tents”, from the more detailed descriptions of the latter I’m assuming both were flimsy, cheap tents like the one I’ll attach a picture of. Which is a VERY different living situation to a bell tent or yurt!

I can kind of understand in a way why they chose to do that with Victoria while they were on the run and their faces were all over the front pages, if they weren’t going to hand themselves in and wanted to hide then that makes sense, they probably felt they had no option, but I absolutely can not fathom choosing to live in a tent like that under normal circumstances at all, let alone thinking it was a suitable place to care for a baby!!!!

My child’s birth parents were inconsistent with visiting at the contact centre. Fortunately she was a baby and was none the wiser.

I see so much of this case in my child’s birth parents, and something like this would’ve definitely happened if they had kept her. Not excusing them, but they don’t know any better and certainly didn’t have the money & privilege that CM had.

Amazes me that she had all this money at her disposal but was living in unsafe conditions.

There is no way that they can get away with this.

As someone who has camped before in very basic conditions tho it was not winter, i cannot fathom how anyone could fall asleep upright in a tiny 2 man tent with nothing to lean against or support their weight. If this where to be true, she either slid backwards and the baby rolled off her onto the cold ground or she slid forward or to her side on top of her suffocating her. This pair were simply just unfit parents, they had no clue. No issue with people living an alternative lifestyle as CM/MG call it but living in squalor without basic necessities is not an alternative lifestyle. They deliberately chose to live like a homeless couple, why i dont think we will ever know!

She said she hadn't slept for days, and probably hadn't eaten properly for a long time either. Normally I couldn't fathom how someone could fall asleep upright in a tiny tent either, but suspect she just collapsed from exhaustion

Like who where they planning on calling if they didnt want anyone to know were they where
or where they were going. Maybe CM ditched a phone each time she had to contact the trust for more dosh and they stockpiled for those phone calls.
Having Money doesnt always mean happiness but it provides choices. Most trustafarians who go down this route usually get fed up of it after a few years as they mature or indeed think of having a family of their own and go back to living a comfortable lifestyle, CM doesnt seem to have matured at all with age, quite the opposite. Still though she used the trust to provide them with what they needed to run away as in cash, car, airbnbs etc albeit with no planning in place at all. Genuine homeless people do not have that choice.

Am I misremembering or did MG have a separate court appearance on unrelated charges? Also part of the arrest video was redacted where they told them the grounds for arrest. 30 burner phones?! I think the simplest explanation would be drugs. I think because of CM background we are supposing it’s something more intriguing than the mundane reality of them being selfish idiots who wouldn’t do the basics for their children if it interfered with their lifestyle.
I don’t know if I buy it that they made the effort for a time with their first child, more likely they deceived SS to get them to sign off and butt out.
Was it definitely the “abandoned” child they left in hospital to attend family court or was this another, earlier instance of doing this? It isn’t clear to me and makes me wonder if it was one of the older children why were they in hospital and why the court hearing. I know the baby they left in hospital was subject to a protection order from birth so it would make sense to me that something had happened prior to trigger that. Or maybe I have just missed something?

It could be related to his conditions attached to his rape conviction. He had requirements to report to a police station when NFA and/or when moving to a new area. He had been doing that but when they went on the run he obviously stopped. Just a guess, though!

I’m conscious that there’s a grim racialised element to elusions to the pair meeting through drug use/the stretch of dealing. Has there been any evidence of this? Considering there’s an original meet story that’s been presented to court & there’s not yet been any reference to drug use I’m even more cautious of it.

She’s a vile pig tho letting those kids down at the contact centre. Also yet another “worker” victim of their shite, that poor contact centre worker having to comfort traumatised children and now being re traumatised by the court proceedings.

Yes he did, it was for failure to present to police as per his SO licence rules. He didn’t go to the hearing (twice I think) and the judge said they would continue in his absence. Haven’t seen anything to say if they did go ahead.
