I wonder why the publicity has been so so lacking this time round, no Trial podcast etc. I only knew the re-trial was happening from tattle. I’m really keeping everything crossed that little Victoria finally gets justice

I’m fiend it’s to try and avoid the circus that the trial became last time and to try and minimise the risk of another mistrial?

I don’t think it was a mistrial, they didn’t reach a verdict. Thees not anything new to say since the last trial.

The prosecution seems to be taking a different tack this time, last time there was a lot of argument about the date of the birth, and we only found out part way through thanks to CM that there were other children, so more agreed facts this time.

One of the expert witnesses this time has given a wider timeframe for the age of the placenta, I think that’s also partly why the birth date isn’t being disputed this time

No, as I said I’m interested in the background which hasn’t been released and info from people who know them. I don’t have any interest in their kids because I’m trying to understand their mental state, not breach the children’s privacy.

No, and I doubt they would be able to. They would need to have been a witness to the events.

How strange. They're all pretty old and she seems to have been tagged at the time they were posted cos she's commented.

Just to say the facebook is in the public domain, and has been for a long time - some of those photos were in the Daily Mail last time (red dress on a railway station with toddler - who is not Victoria)

I don’t think you can bring character witnesses to trial.
If she contacted friends for help and they didn’t help then they’d have been witness for the prosecution, like the taxi driver and the people who saw them walking about. They wouldn’t be her witness.

As no one knows who was contacted and no one came forward, possibly it was the "network" of people who have had children removed who were protesting last time.

The point was why she hasn’t called any witnesses who are her friends. She can’t call on a friend as a witness unless:
they witnessed something regarding baby Victoria, and also
that what they witnessed helps prove her case that she wasn’t negligent.
