I think it's just all for comments. The social media ban for under 16s was announced this morning and she knows it'll be what everyone is talking about so will bring in the comments and therefore the money.
The Department of Education updated policy a few months ago for schools to be phone free environments by default. A lot of schools have been introducing yonder pouches over the last school year. The school are just giving notice before they all go back in Sept

Yes you’re probably right she’s a crafty one. Trouble is you’ve got to really understand what you’re talking about and she clearly didn’t come across that she understood it that well but no surprise there.
My eldest daughter is very relieved that this is going to come in place although my eldest grandson is only nine she’s already concerned about it and I completely understand why.
I hope so too ( regarding having words with Claire and Wino) will she take any notice? She should it will be interesting to see won’t it. I doubt it somehow.

Hey Twollies
So i really wanna come to Cornwall in September with hubby and pooch.
Live in West Yorkshire so its far away! So i need to get it right if i decide
I am going to be 40 and ive done sooo many abroad holidays and cruises over the years but they are too hard for me now so thought why not Cornwall as always wanted to go. September maybe quieter too as outside school hols.

I struggle with mobility. I dont need a wheelchair but i cant walk for long periods of time. I know Cornwall can be hilly so that is something i need to avoid.

What will be the best area for us to stay? Im thinking Air B&B we dont want hotel as i need to take medical supplies and need a house/cottage type just for us.
I want to experience things i can manage in cornwall and we dont mind driving to places if they arnt near to the area we will stay in.

I have googled but honestly im lost with it, it has so many answers about places that are flatish but i dont know one from the other. Past london im unfamiliar with.

Nothing better than asking those who already live there but i appreciate this might not be allowed on here as its not Claire related haha.
I want beach and nice restaurants. Towns to visit with independent shops etc.
If anyone can suggest any places in Cornwall ideal for me then i can look into them x

Try holidaycottagespolperro on Facebook or online. We’ve stayed there lots of times in different cottages and can’t fault any of them. We’ve been all over Cornwall, but we’re always drawn back to Polperro. We’re also going in September and can’t wait.

Ive just watched the video of her talking to Pearl about her school visit to a nursing home.

The whole time Claire was talking to her whilst in the camera. Never turned to face her once while speaking to her, just into the camera as she asked her questions!

Id be horrified if someone was having a conversation with me and they had their phone held up to speak to it the whole time
Never once speaking directly to me.

This has always been a thing at our school, my oldest daughter is in year 10 and had to sign a contract in year 7 to say she understood phones are to be "off and away" once passing the school gate and if her phone was seen or heard it would be confiscated for up to a week.
My daughter calls me using the school phone if she needs me to drop anything in. If hers have no social media why can't they contact her with a brick phone?

Exactly, a phones a phone and if its for safety reasons only, a brick phone should suffice.

yep! They both spend ages faffing and spluttering prepping their meals, ( makes me feel ill the way they maul the food and lick their fingers ) yet feed the kids rubbish. The children never do anything apart from walk the dog. If they did, you just know she’d be using it for content. Just waiting to see how she gets out of Jamaica…
