When do Christmas PJs usually go on sale in the supermarkets in particular Sainsbury’s?

thanks to wls this is the first Christmas in a long time I’ll fit into their sizes and I’m so excited to buy some new Christmas pjs 😆

also has anyone heard anything about the Aldi beauty advent calendar this year?
Next are out just now online, I think Sainsbury’s will be soon. A lot of people wait for the 20 percent off discount, but I prefer to get them in as need various sizes. I got mine from Asda last year. I like them to have Santa’s on them and they did, so went for them.

I’ve booked it for this Christmas, Canterbury were out for me anyway not only due to cost but they don’t fly from my airport.

I read lots of reviews and the Tui ones consistently alms out good. The taster sessions seem to be enough for young children, and you can have more than one go too. My plan is to see if they really enjoy any of the tasters and maybe book a full one whilst there.

I also chose Levi over Rovaneimi after many many late night deep dives
my head is in a spin from the research like you - many late night dives. It sounds daft but with a summer style package holiday I know I’ll have another so if this one was a bit meh there’s always next year. But this will be a once in a lifetime experience so I want it to be right.
Tbh I was leaning towards the TUI package as I feel taster sessions are enough. The Canterbury seemed too ‘full on’ but then Canterbury just seemed to pip them to the post on dates but then it was different locations

Thank you for the link and the tip. Just bought them for my mother in law. She will be over the moon. She will think that they are the height of sophistication ❤
I know they seem expensive but F&M food buyers know their audience well so delighted your M-I-L will be delighted come the best time of the year.

I mentioned this to Mr2 yesterday.
I NEVER get an advent, im not sad or mad as I genuinely never see the point but this one i KNOW I'd like.
I could make my own but unsure how many readily available mini jars there are on the shelves.

Alarm set for 2027!
Quoting myself as I wanted to mention that I never get an advent calendar as an adult, I definitely did as a child, several infact.

I’ve seen them in loads of places but obviously they range in quality/price. B&M had them in cheap plastic tubes. Next had gorgeous ones last year. Bronze is quite popular again, so more shops will have it in I’m sure. Love bronze theme. Bronze and gold. Stunning. I’ve just done a quick google and there are a few options on Temu… hit and a miss with quality from there though….but cheap enough to try.

I’ll maybe wait until B&m get their stock out and if not try temu! Thank you xx

I would love to say the same about McDonald’s Christmas Cheese bites but I’m in mourning. Don’t even really like McDonald’s but those things are like crack.
I love Christmas but I was sad the Grinch wave at McDonalds got rid of those garlic and black pepper nuggets they were doing, they were lush.

I’m tempted! Read out the list to MrOwl this morning and we decided they’d never last til December.
Should've got an affiliate link but maybe store them elsewhere? As in off-premises? They don't tend to buy huge amounts of stock and if it's a small or smallish bakers making them, which is my hunch, they might get overwhelmed.

I'm also still traumatised by the M&S Christmas cookies deficit of 2024 🥲 which may be affecting my madness.

Has anyone got any recommendations for a good Christmas market trip? We've done Lapland and I want another Christmassy adventure 🥰 I am doing some research into Frankfurt as would love to go, I thought this would be the thread to ask.

I know we're a bunch of biscuit lovers and felt this needed to be highlighted. Yes, they're expensive, incredibly so, but absolutely no palm oil or fat and the best before date on mine is in May '27.

They were a gift for me and I no longer work for them, honestly, but if they survive a period attack, they'll be perfect for the festive season. Yes, I live alone and won't be sharing. What's your point?
I wish I hadn’t clicked. They look divine ❤

Yes there was lots reduced in my Sainsbury’s too! Basically any fresh food with their Christmas packaging was very cheap.

Not sure if they’ll do it again, but in the last couple of years they reduced anything leftover to 1p-10p. Probably next week? So it’s worth taking stuff to the tills just to see (unless you’re sick of Christmas food by now!) 😅
