She tries to paint it as “choice”. But it can’t be a choice if the only option available is to dress like a hipster toddler. I am certain she’d never take him to the shops and let him choose what he wants. Part of the control surrounding home school is also grounded in limiting exposure and influence. If he never sees or interacts with “normal” kids then he’s not going to ask his parents for the latest sneaker or cool hair cut because he’s literally confined and kept away from the outside world and reality for those his age group. She’s giving the family cult vibes. no self awareness that her 12 year old child probably doesn’t want to be dressing like a 4 year old. Her control over them having friends is also super weird. Like let them live ffs

I home Ed and would say this is far from the normal of what I’ve seen, personally my daughter does clubs/social interactions 6 days a week, the amount of effort put into home education needs a lot of dedication. I follow the curriculum so if my daughter does want to go to school she’s at the same level. All the other parents I know who do it also out a huge amount of effort into what they teach. It enables me to teach my daughter in a way that works for her and by using her interests . I’m certainly not saying all parents would put the effort in but majority would as it’s easier to send kids to school if you don’t want to educate them yourself.I found this article very interesting about some people and their experience being homeschooled. It is quite long article but they mentioned when they did go to mainstream school they noticed how behind they more.
This was in the Eastern States. I still think that only having an audit by the department once a year is not enough.

'We weren't getting a proper education at all': Former homeschooler speaks out
Two former homeschoolers who say they were denied a proper education are calling for mandatory home visits. But advocates say tighter regulations aren't the answer.www.abc.net.au
I think he has to watch the triplets. While Ro is witb the little kids and Chloe just sits and watches drinking coffee. Can’t believe Evan is still hanging around playgroundspoor child.
Crazy to me that they won’t put them in school. You cannot teach a teenager down to preschoolers in the same day.I think he has to watch the triplets. While Ro is witb the little kids and Chloe just sits and watches drinking coffee.
It must be quite challenging. Where do you take 10 kids? The days must feel so long as there's just no break from the family.
They all look scruffy and paleThose kids really need braces
It's weird that she also mentioned that he is "basically a grown man". 13 is still a kid.Well Evan’s a teenager … wonder if he’s allowed to be independent of the family and have some thoughts and friends out of that bubble it’s more like a cult
My nephew is only a year older and it’s very clear how emotionally stunted E is. He’s (and his siblings) missing out on some fundamental social skills and I do wonder how he’ll cope when he actually is a ‘grown man’.It's weird that she also mentioned that he is "basically a grown man". 13 is still a kid.
I do wonder if some of the kids will want some kind of freedom as they get older. Instead of having to look after your brothers and sisters 24/7.
Chloe has been quiet lately. She mentioned in one vlog that she wants to focus on her exercise and weightloss.
I think that it's a perfectly fine thing for a 13 year old to want to do.He went to the minecraft opening for his birthday as that’s what he wanted to do I’m not being nasty but that’s something a 8/9 year old would want to do for their birthday treat.
