Thanks! I’m sure anywhere else of a similar size would be quite a lot of money too.
The area they live in is quite affordable for Australia, it’s far away from the city and the further away you get the cheaper it is. Not sure where this new property is though!

Ahh, I was under the impression Perth has the same wild affordability issues so much of Australia does. But if they're far enough out that makes sense!

He looks different from all her other kids!
I always feel some of the children thrive in the big family and seem to love it, like Evan, and to me a few don’t seem as happy with it … of course that’s natural as intrinsic personality etc .. I have three and my eldest would be fine if I had two more, but my middle is intense and is just about OK with three, but it’s obviously his limit for me to meet his needs. Honestly, it’s hard to split yourself three ways … there’s a reason most have two .. with ten kids there is no way they are all getting what they need individually (I do think she does a lovely job, but it’s just the sheer number).

Why is it okay to relocate people and fund that but it’s not okay to have child benefit? Australia is desperate for population. They need babies and immigrants. If someone wants to have a lot of kids, why not? It’s not China. World fertility is barely at replacement. Because they already home schooled the kids for 30 school years collectively they are saving the taxpayer thousands for each child each year they don’t go. That said I wish she would send. They are vegetarian again. Can’t be that difficult to manage school. School can provide services for their ASD kiddo or kiddos. People should have as few or as many kids as they want.

Will those homeschooled kids be educated enough to get jobs when they are old enough, can they mix socially with other kids or adults who are not just their own big family?

Because relocating people is to help people get out of tough situations in their home country or to provide them with a better quality of life. Someone deciding to have a load of children and expecting the govt to provide financial support is completely different. Having children is a choice.

It's hard to say. I think some may struggle with the real world. Being in a new environment and also people's reactions when you tell them.how many brothers and sisters you have!

I do think work will be hard for them as it's a whole different life. From what I can gather home school they just pick and choose what they want to do.

Also skilled migrants as some areas have a shortage.

Chloe most likely will never have a job. I don't know what is happening with the online store or how much YouTube pays. But a large portion of her income may very well come from Family Benefits.

Saying that kids are expensive plus the cost of living.

That is exactly what folk showing up unexpected expect. At least in UK and U.S. And we don’t have child benefit except at tax time. Not a monthly thing at all. They are in a country that is supposed to be trying to kill one or more of them and they have a boatload of kids. I saw this is not China or Russia. Let people have as few or as many as they want.

So she wears corduroy overalls all year round? Imagine how hot and sweaty that is in a Perth summer. Ewwww.

Plus they would be such a pain to take off when you want to go to the toilet!

Ro and Chloe looked really tired in the vlog. O remember when they had to pay to have a fence fixed, I think it was at their house. It was a bit of shock for them as they had to pay for it, as in the past they rented and it was the landlord who paid for that.

I know I say this every year. I can't believe the Education Department only audit home school kids once a year. What do they do if a kid has fallen behind in school? It feels too late by the end of the year.

It’s been so hot this past week! Beautiful weather, but not overalls weather.

I think she must have body image issues and thinks those overalls are making her look better, or maybe they’re a comfort thing for her. In reality she just looks frumpy.

I wondered if she might be pregnant again! She wore them throughout her entire last pregnancy, even peak summer 🥵

Her most recent post, although one of the wee ones is standing in front of her eldest, you can still see he’s wearing cartoon print leggings. I can’t get my head around her older kids being happy to be dressed the same as the babies. I feel so sad for them, they could be entering a really fun and social school era, but instead she’s put in to their mind that it’s bad and not for them, and so they stay home with babies all day
