Evening all. And welcome to the newbies. Friendships are hard the older we get and how our lives take us in different directions. When we were younger my friendship group all used to do the same things school/college/uni, hanging out at weekends. But as we got older some of us got married, had children, some went into really intense careers, some moved away, all different paths that while we had common beginnings we didn't then have much in common at all. That said a quick call or message to say happy birthday doesn't take much at all and it is dickish to not say anything, sorry your friends were like that @poultonlefylde. I hope you still manage to have a good day.
I can't wake up today. I slept until 10am this morning, then had a huge nap this afternoon and now I have just woken up again. Still feel like I could sleep a solid 10 hours now.
In between all the sleeping I did get outside to the garden and planted some seeds. We'll see if they come to anything, probably not!
That's it. I am bored by my life. I want to go home so desperately. Mr Jelly sent me done photos of the children and it is a whole new world and I am not part of it. I can't stop and really think about it because it makes me so upset and angry, but avoiding it isn't working either. My stupid body.
