Hey all. Can't remember the last time i posted. Life is good. I got the full time job i applied for so as of 27th June i am back in full time employment woo hoo. Working my last bank shift today and it's long and boring and i am wondering why i didn't stick to my original plan of having 2wks off before starting properly oh well roll on 8pm

What straighteners does everyone have/recommend? I've got some GHDs atm but they're soooo old and absolutely battered. I wanna treat myself to some new ones and idk whether to stick with trusty GHDs or get some of them cloud nine ones everyone bangs on about?! I don't straighten my hair that much cos I just blowdry it straight with the dyson air wrap but I need them for my fringe otherwise it goes wild

i have some really shit ones, but on that note i'd love to have a hairbrush which is also a hair straightener? does that exist?!

One I like right now is Anne Marie's latest one, though I wouldn't like it without her part of the duet. I like the contrast between how sweet her verse is and the bitterness of the lyrics. I thought the Stevie Wonder song it was based on was the worst thing he ever did but that now has the saving grace of inspiring a good record.

Speaking of current ones, I'd also have Harry Styles' latest one. I'd have Golden too.

I’m working from home today again (well from my Parents). I’m really tired, couldn’t sleep until 5 am, I’m staying at my parents because me and my Mr had a huge fight and he did something he shouldn’t have done, I miss him but I just need space for a few days. I feel so sad, my face is puffy from crying. Being an adult is the worst sometimes.

Hiiii guys. I’m back from my travels today. I’m sorry don’t kick me out but I found b&m very underwhelming. Here’s my tiny haul. Little peaches was buzzing with his daisy though

then I went home bargains which was also under whelming but the snack selection was better. Can’t say I’d be running back to either shop in a hurry tbh. Ohh and I went cafe and had omelette and chips which was the best part of the day tbh. And cuddles with my friends baby he’s soo cute.

Then after school I went and met my two mates and their kids in the park & little peaches had a good old play and run around so that was lovely. Just had pasta bake for dinner.

Back to work tomorrow I’m gutted

Hi, hope it's ok to join in. I have been a lurker on this thread and you all seem a lovely lot. Kind of in need of some company and somewhere to share my feelings
I have of two close friends, we have been friends since uni. One of them recently got married and the other one just got engaged. It was my 27th yesterday and they didn't even bother to send me a message. It's not a big deal I guess but it hurts. Worst part is I don't even know what I have done for them to cut me off other than not getting married/ engaged at the same time as them.
I know I should be grateful that I have my fella and babies who love me and could celebrate with them.
It's just that my family is far away and these friends had became like a surrogate family.

Once again sorry for just barging in and venting
