My heart is so sad for everything going on. The worst part is that the world doesn't stop. Life just continues, no matter what.
And my heart breaks for those babies and their parents in America. I cannot even begin to imagine.

Thanks all you’ve been so kind, hopefully he’s getting discharged today following a mental health assessment His girlfriend has just told me she’s got to go to hospital herself tomorrow because she has shadowing on her bowel and they need to investigate it, she had mouth cancer a few years ago so she’s had all of that to worry about on top of all of this and she had only told my mum about that, my brother doesn’t even know! I feel for her so much

Just got back from seeing downton abbey it was great! And I picked up a McDonald’s on the way back I tried the new McSpicy it was lush!

yesterday morning my eldest brother drank bleach he’s been in the hospital since and has burnt all down from his lips to his stomach, he’s being kept in for a few days so they can keep an eye on his throat. He’s been in a bad place lately really depressed and miserable, and we’ve found out it’s because he’s been doing c constantly, he used to have a really bad drug problem for years but he’s been well for the last few years since he’s had my niece. It’s so horrible at the moment, my other brother blames himself because he knew about the drugs and didn’t tell anyone so he feels like tit. My sister in law is in absolute bits luckily she found him when she did otherwise who knows what could’ve happened I just feel sad for everyone it’s so horrible

I thought about you first thing this morning, sending so much love to you, I had a MMC 16 months ago and it was such a strange time, it was like time stood still and I was in my own little world for weeks. I hope your mini melon gives you extra cuddles today

so much terrible news, what with everything in our little group, and all the terrible things happening in the world. the shooting in the states (how have they still not sorted this weapons issue out?!), war, illnesses... it's a crazy world we live in right now. wish i could press rewind sometimes

on a brighter note, today has been a good and productive day so far. it's my friend's bday today so after some morning meetings, my other friend and i surprised her during her lunch break and brought her a little gift and a bouquet of peonies

I got my nails done this morning, and came to starbucks to try do some work on my dissertation. Just had an email back from my University that they accepted my application for an Erasmus grant (Work abroad anywhere in Europe, and they'll give me a set amount of money as a grant each month). Was having a really crappy day until this so I'm quite happy

What do you all get from starbucks?

Depends on the weather what I get from Starbucks, a refresher drink if it's hot (I don't like iced coffee).. The lime one is SO good! Or the honey & hazelnut oat latte

@xx3221 I don't go to Starbucks often last time I went I had a white choc frapp with cream and a shot of peppermint. Well these nails are one way to get the OH to do more chores 'you are going to have to wash the dishes from now on' 'why?' 'because of my new nails!'

@strawb Thank you! Im not sure yet. It includes Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Austria, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Greece, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal & Czech. But I know my family won't be comfortable with me going to a lot of these places so I need to talk to them first.
I was supposed to do a year abroad but I couldn't bring myself to do an extra year of University so i didn't. So im sooo glad i got this opportunity!

I feel a bit sad, I was supposed to go out for dinner with friends but they’ve cancelled so it’ll be another night sitting at home alone. I’ve had a tit day at work so was looking forward to the company. I’m aware this is the most insignificant whinge ever in comparison to everything else going on. Has anyone ever trained their hair to stop needing washed so much and if so how long did it take? I’m trying to just now cause I have to wash it every other day with it sometimes even looking greasy the day after getting washed but I feel like I’m just going about looking like a tramp all the time
