i went cake tasting the other day with clients and i can't stop thinking about a pistachio & raspberry cake i tried

it was amazing! and also gluten free, lactose free & sugar free! you'd expect nothing from that but it was the best one out of 8

My wedding cake I’m doing top layer chocolate, middle lemon, then bottom vanilla and jam 
I like chocolate and ginger cakes. I also love Bakewell Tart (that mix of icing, jam and pastry is delicious). I also love Battenburg, which my granny used to give me as a treat when I was little: I loved peeling off the marzipan from the edge and eating that before the strawberry and lemon flavour sponge squares.
one day i'll do lemon for my wedding cake too. and a watermelon layer for the tattle table

SIL bought MIL one of them 8 inch tall bday cakes last year. It was dry as a nuns chuff and cost about £65. Looked fancy tho so that’s all that matters
